goals: post some pretty paintings, wrap gifts, mail emma and caleb’s gifts, finish illustrations for Children’s book, clean le home and make it cozy, watch Elf with mr. larson, have girl time with Rachel, dye hair a semi natural looking color & maybe get a few more items from my 27 list going!
fun goals this time. i have to admit, this has been a REALLY good month for me. i love the energy that the Holidays bring… and i love being sentimental! December totally makes me want to have 11 children all with bunk beds and matching PJs. ha! i’m kidding, but it does make me extra thankful for my family. sigh.
i know January is going to bring so many good things…. style school, a little extra time for projects that have been patiently waiting (huge plans for our Spring collection!) and a chance to see my little sister. must enjoy every single second of this Holiday season before it’s gone gone gone.
LOVES, els

The holidays always make me want to break out the oversized blankets and footsy pajamas <3
Elsie you inspire in so many ways. I hope you enjoy the rest of the Christmas season. It always seems to fly by more quickly than I would like. I’m trying to soak up every last bit. Merry Christmas.
love you!
hey elsie, do you have any tips for keeping your hair in good nick after dying?
hope your christmas prep goes to plan π
love your blog xo
hannah, i’m not sure what you mean. to keep the color from fading i wash it less and use dry shampoo. to keep it ‘healthy’ after tons of bleaching i condition it more… but bleach is still pretty damaging, so i have to get more trims or i’ll have lots of split ends! hope that helps. XOXO.
Oh, Elsie, I’m in a spot in my life where I’m anything but inspired & in a Christmas mood but to see that someone is so cheerful like you makes me want to change. Thank you so much!
Love your goals! I should make a list of mine to motivate me finish some illustrations. π
Your blog is amazing! Check out mine! π
Angela, i love your blog! thanks, everyone.
I’m working most of the holidays but all I really want to do is stay in my PJs all day at home.
i love the colour of your hair when my and my best friend finish school we are making our hair pastel pink and blue π
xx. A
elsie– I’ve just dyed my hair a more ‘sensible’ colour after being pink for a couple of months, and I have those very same cute headphones π love your style, you inspire me and make me smile daily! abby xxx
Hi Elsie! Linked you here – http://colomborantings.blogspot.com/2009/12/my-new-year-cards.html π Hugs
i have a pic of a pugs
on my blog
hope you like it
If you had 11 children, you wouldn’t be crafting all day long like you do now…I’m so jealous! I only have two and can’t do anything I want to (i’m never left alone for more than two minutes). My Christmas turned cheap and easy this year, not like I wanted it to be.
What dry shampoo do you use, Elsie?
also lovelovelove the pink hair!
I feel the same way about December! π So fun! And this dog photog’s blog post about pugs made me think of you and yours: http://www.leesiateh.com/blog/?p=3111

I did a post today about a Winter Wonderland Sketchbook i’ve been doing for college, and some of my designs are inspired by your work.
Thank you for being so inspirational xoxo
