hi there! it’s time for 10 Things I Love Sunday. I have been mentally collecting the prettiest things to show you this week. First up, 1. Vintage Sewing Patterns. I have a huge collection. This one came from a sweet blog reader this week (Thank You, Denise!). I just made a display with some in the shop studio! The illustration style is pure magic.

3. My favorite outerwear pieces from Anthroplogie this season.

I’m a college music student and I use the scraps of mis-copied music from our library printer as wrapping paper and to make bows.
Luckily its all (originally) for educational use and note to be sold, so I’m technically not breaking any copyright laws!
I *just* found a huge stash of vintage sewing patterns that had belonged to my husband’s grandmother…they are seriously so cool. I want to frame them!
Can’t wait to see the Black Swan–I know I’m going to die over the fabulously luxurious costumes:)
TOTALLY LOVE your website and can’t wait to see your store!! I will be there in January!
Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Wooo. I’m liking that fireplace as well!

My mom has a whole bunch of those sewing patterns. She used to make me dresses when I was younger. I hated them…But now that I’m older, I really want to get my own sewing machine so I can try my hand at it.
Natalie Portman, the black swan, really wonderful. And elsie, I believe you will also be gorgeous in that dress.
aww i totally wrapped my presents in sheet music this year! i didn’t think of adding cute jingle bells though- i did origami cranes and ribbon instead.
I just received a hot air balloon necklace from Etsy and it came in a music sheet paper box. I absolutely love that extra touch. Photo # 10 is certainly stunning.
great selection of pics, so full of inspiration

I’ve been wrapping things in sheet music this year, too, and making little “song bird” gift tags with it. I didn’t think of bells, though – sweet!

I love little notes left anywhere. I find them fascinating because I’m rather nosey. That wrapping paper is also so so sweet. The perfect thing for music lovers. I love the photo of you Elsie. Your tattoos look amazing! Have a lovely Christmas.
Loving this week’s lovely things, especially photo ten 🙂 Gorgeous gorgeous. I’m hoping to receive Blog Love for Christmas! I can’t wait!
That is one fantastic fireplace, indeed! The entire room is amazing, but nothing makes a room like a good fireplace, in my opinion.
Beautiful images this week! I am really excited to see Black Swan with my best friend after the new year. Hope you enjoy this holiday week.

All things are adorable!
This reminds me that some days ago I found a vintage sewing machine I had as a child. It was meant to be for doll clothes but I had sewing patterns as well. They are still in good condition and I’m loving them still!
I was just recently given a bin full of vintage patterns by my moms friend. So fun to use! And the fireplace is incredible. <3
Wow! Love it all! I’ve bought some vintage patterns from Salvation Army and can’t wait to actually use them. They look so fun. And I’m desperate to have one of those fire places. I’ve been looking at them for over a year now. They’re the best!
Lovely post – as if your blog in general – but I particularly like the musical score wrapping paper… But why not use some of your own? Then you can choose a song which has sentimental meaning… Got to love a cliche! I tried making one of your feather headbands the other day, if you have time look at my results!

Loving vintage patterns. If only I were better at following them! And couldn’t agree with you more on picture 10. Practically perfect in every way!
Oh yes I love looking at vintage sewing patterns eventhough I can’t sew at all 🙂
And i adore these floral shoes, so cuuute!
I saw a preview for Black Swan for the first time on Saturday and I was very intrigued (and a little scared)!
I always want to buy vintage sewing patterns, but then I realize that I don’t know how to sew! Might be important :]
I love the sheet music wrapping paper, so cute!
I love the wrapping paper!

!!!
I LOVE that sweater on the right from Anthro! It looks so cozy and fun!
We love it all too! That cape from Anthro is divine!!!
Can’t wait to see your vintage patterns! It’s so weird how they only came in one size back then. I am making a dress from a 1973 pattern and it’s a size 10 or something. I’m pretty sure it will fit but I have no idea. (I should measure)
🙂
I love that you love Rodarte! 🙂 Aveda always does the hair for their runway shows.
Going to look at JC shoes now!…
