Happy weekend! We had a wonderful time celebrating Weekday Weekend this week! Thank you to everyone who preordered our book or is adding it to your Christmas list. We are planning to do a Weekday Weekend Challenge with you in January … so excited!
1. We’re so excited about the launch of Meaningful Work this week! Shawn is a mentor to us and one of the most inspiring people I’ve ever met. I’m going to listen to the audiobook this week.
2. Obsessed with this company! For every doll you buy, they donate 10 meals to children in need. SO special + perfect for the holidays coming up!
3. LOVE this home manicure idea.
4. A super pretty & ultra colorful Friendsgiving.
5. I never thought I’d be buying a beaded curtain, but I’m getting this one for our bnb. SO cute!
6. The sweetest dessert plates.
7. 99% sure I’ll be adding this orange jacket to my winter capsule (just started working on that—I can’t believe how fast time has gone).
8. Molly Sims mentioned us in her new book Everyday Chic, which I can’t wait to read!
9. A great gift for a new baby … this one too.
10. I am taking THE most inspiring e-course about making art with children. It seriously has me PUMPED to become a mom next month. I learned so much from Elise from specific projects to do with Nova to tips I want to write and hang on the wall and remember every single day. Art is an investment. I love the idea of investing my time into Nova’s little art projects.
P.S. If you haven’t looked at our wishlist page lately, it’s bananas! Jacki adds new items every week.
xx. Elsie

I love the home manicure idea! I’ve never had a manicure before and doing it at home would save so much! ❤
Hope you have a great Sunday, Elsie! 🙂

Just bought your book! I can’t wait to read it and get inspired:)!
Hey Elsie! These Sunday posts are some of my favorite ones you all do now, Of course I love seeing windows into the home decor and food, but these posts are really fun because I can enjoy going through them for a while. Its not a quick read…. gives us a window into a lot of different things that you’re enjoying. Would you ever think about doing one of these type posts about where you shop online for clothing? More fashion centric? I love the randomness of it…. just the things you’re eyeing. In your post the other day about limiting your shopping I remember you saying you browse things online a lot (I realize this might counteract the idea of the capsule wardrobe and limiting clothes shopping so feel free to throw it out the window hahahaa….) but I found myself wondering where you browse regularly, and a post like this for fashion would be fun to read. Anyhow…. love this post! Have such fun preparing for China! So excited for you!
Omg. That manicure idea is precious. I really want to try that out. I am alwaysss doing my own nails. Occasionally, I love going to get my nails done because then they get nicely trimmed and everything. But I always seem to be chipping my nails so fast that I just feel like it is so much easier and cheaper to do it myself. So this is such a cute idea. I have to try this.
