Would you like a jello shot? Sure. How about one served as a diamond ring?? YES. PLEASE. There’s plenty of fun ways to present and prepare jello shots, but I have to say that this method is probably one of my favorites! It’s perfect for a bachelorette, birthday, or girls’ night out party, and takes only a tiny bit more effort than making a standard jello shot in a regular plastic cup.
Diamond Ring Jello Shots (makes up to 48 shots)
plastic ring shot glasses
box of 3 oz. jello
1 cup rum or vodka
1 cup boiling water
sugar crystals or sprinkles (optional)
package of dry beans or rice to hold ring molds
Boil your water and add it to your package of dry jello mix. Stir two minutes until dissolved. Add your rum or vodka and stir.
Transfer your liquid into a container with a small spout. Fill a container about 1″ deep with either dry beans or rice and stick your ring molds into the mix. The beans help keep the molds upright and soak up any jello that spills out as you pour. If you want the shots to come out easier when guests go to eat them, lightly spray or coat the molds with a cooking spray or olive oil. Fill each mold almost to the top with your jello mix and carefully place it in the fridge for a few hours until set.
Once the molds are set, you can top the rings with a colored sugar or sprinkle topping right before serving so there’s a little surprise when guests open the top of the molds.
Aren’t they just too cute? And like I said, they are really not much more work than making regular jello shots either. They are on the smaller side, so you may want to make more than one per guest, and then they can also bling out their fingers with several shots at once. Of course you can fill them with whatever flavor you want, but I think the bright colors look the most “ring popish”, which is a fun nod for those who grew up on that candy (watermelon flavor was my Ring Pop jam). Hope you can include this gem of an idea at a gathering sometime soon! xo. Laura

Love this idea! But how do you eat them?
These are so creative!
Ahhhh I love it! My sister’s bachelorette party is on Saturday and I just rush-ordered these rings on Amazon. GOTTA HAVE IT!
If you use oil or a bit of cooking spray you should be able to kind of suck them out of the containers, or you could serve them with the tiny ice cream spoons if you didn’t want to do that 🙂

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either created myself
or outsourced but it seems a lot of it iss popping
it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any ways to help protect against content from being ripped off?
I’d certainly appreciate it.
