Elsie and I didn't really mean to be so matchy-matchy. We laughed when we realized we were both wearing heart prints (mine on my jacket, hers on her blouse). We are too cool. Obviously.
You guys, is it just me or is this the best time of year? Jackets, boots, layers, crisp breezes, hot coffee always being appropriate any time of day—it's just the best, right? And I don't know if it's the anticipation of the busy holiday season or the release from finally seeing new adventures come to life, but this season seems to always be filled with a constant and exciting buzz.
Or maybe it's all that hot coffee that's making that constant buzz. Hmm.

I’m curious to know if you two are good at silencing your inner photographer when you are on a shoot with Sarah or if it is really a collaboration. Like do you all throw out ideas or try to just let her direct you? Sometimes too much input can make things confusing. We’re coming into Summer down in here in Aus and you’re making feel an extreme longing for coats and hot drinks even though I was happy about casting off the layers just a month ago! I love the looks you put together, but (as a long time ABM fan) I have two things to critize about this post. 1: You mention that the outfits were sponsored so how can the prints “accidently match” when you actually chose them? 2: Why is it cold enough for scarfs and coats, but still warm enough for bare feet and legs? That’s a bit of a contradiction to me.

Hi Laura,
So, to respond… 1. We actually don’t really coordinate our sister style outfits. Trey sends us the link of where to pick clothes from, we pick and sometimes we see what the other has chosen, but sometimes we don’t. We almost never choose the same stuff because our styles are pretty different. So, yes- it was an accident (we wouldn’t lie to you). 2. It was warm, you’re right. We didn’t need coats on the day we took these photos, but we still wore them for this post because it was a part of our responsibility for this post (we just got back from a trip the night before and it was due, there wasn’t time to wait for a cold day). I don’t mind admitting it to you at all! With that said, I do love this coat. 🙂
