Autumn is typically our busy season. It makes sense because, you know, crafts… autumn… cold weather… recipes… holiday gifts. So yeah, this is the time of year when we're the busiest. But this year… WHOA. Even crazier.
It's mostly due to our product release that's coming up and a little more travel than normal. Emma and I are in the zone. She basically won't talk to me unless we're taking a coffee break. Girl is FOCUSED.
It's a great season too. We recently had a session with our friend Shawn Askinosie (aka the best chocolate maker in the entire world) where we worked on making a five year plan. It was hilarious to see how very different our ideas were of where we are, where we wanted to go, and what our next steps of action should be. It's already helped us SO much to step back and figure some stuff out.
Anyway! Loving this crazy, busy, exciting season. Pretty soon we'll be in a new stage of life, so we're enjoying each step as it comes… and catching up during our many coffee breaks.
There's no one I would rather share this adventure with. Love you, Emma.

No babies on the way yet.

Thanks so much Cat! We are too. We’ve been cleaning out the closets like crazy.

I love the boots! Elsie, I love the button up blouses you often wear, and since I’m built similarly, I was wondering if it’s hard to find or fit them. I’m small but curvy, and the buttons always pop if the shirt fits well, and if I go bigger they just look awful and baggy! So I pretty much can’t buy them but I miss blouses (I used to use safety pins between the buttons, but that’s not always enough!)
during busy times, i absolutely live for coffee breaks with my girlfriends. best ever π cute outfits!

I love this post, :). And it’s nice to see your back Elsie! I love your more personal/business related posts, I find them very helpful and inspiring, as I have been following this blog for a few years now…all throughout the birth of my inkling for business to the actual launch of my bakery. I feel like your an old friend that I come back to for encouraging notes and jolts of colorful inspiration, so thank you for that!
It’s so heart warming to see you two so happy!
You guys look absolutely amazing! Gorgeous pictures x

Super cute, as always! So great that you found someone to help with a five year plan. He sounds like a good mentor. I would love to see more business posts, such as tips on finding a mentor, if you feel so inclined. Craft and style posts are awesome too, of course.
Yes, this weather provides the perfect excuse to drink a few cups of hazelnut coffee from WaWa π
I currently live in Italy and am a very big believer in coffee breaks π

My thought! ?
Lovin the look of that “Holga Blur” action…for when I’m too lazy and cheap to whip out the good ole’ Holgs! Looks like I’ll be purchasing that later π Oh and of course you two look super adorable per the usual!
Hazelnut latte??? Mmmmmmmmm

Thanks! I’m up to three blazers now so I’m a real business lady. π
I honestly wish this one was just one size smaller, but I love love the fabric and color, plus it was in good condition and you can’t beat the price (under $10) so I went for it anyway. Tiny bit too big, but whatever. π

Wow, I got so superduper inspired by this post – THANX!! And such cool, beautiful photos. Here’s some digital love from Sweden π
Yes this certainly is the busIest time. I love it though. Beautiful photos!
Emma, how do you like the seychelles boots? I like those ones a lot! It’s hard to find knee-high boots that don’t have a pirate-y fold over thing at the top. Are those comfortable? I walk a lot, so I like mine pretty toe-friendly.
Love your boots and top, Elsie! And five year plan, coffee break dicussions, you girls are so productive! Wish i had a sister like Emma
