Happy Father's Day! Today is a day to celebrate all the awesome fathers in our lives. Elsie and I are lucky to have a super supportive dad. You've probably seen him a few times on the blog, but it's often kind of hidden (like the photo above) because he's kind of a behind-the-scenes guy here at ABM. Our dad has helped us with SO many different projects and endeavors over the years. With our blog our dad is a constant source of support as he teaches us so much about more advanced home decor type of projects. He actually has his own archive of posts he's helped with.
Back in July 2012 I got my first few power tools and created my first big project for the blog (this wood pallet table). I worked on that table all day one weekend. Eventually I got to a place where I wasn't sure how to accomplish the next step. So, I called my dad. He came out the next day and helped me finish the table. Our dad has always been one of the biggest champions of our small business.
Elsie and I also have two very encouraging, kind-hearted, and generous father-in-laws. Thank you, Bill and Gary, for all your love and support. We love you all SO much!
