This past week Jeremy had some recording sessions to do in Nashville and I tagged along, just for fun! We had a great time dreaming, planning and (of course!) eating. Here are a few photos from our short trip. We picked up a Wildsam Field Guide for Nashville (they have one for Austin and SF as well!). It was helpful and really beautiful too. Pineapple + Cilantro Agua Fresca from Mas Tacos.
A friend recommended White's Mercantile to us. It's beautifully curated and the coolest space because it was made from a gas station. We visited a bunch of spots that were formerly gas stations or warehouses and things like that. It was inspiring! We picked up this amazing giant journal at this shop. It's so beautiful and unique. I'm going to save it for something really special. Pinewood Social was a treat. We went there several times during our visit. We love that they serve all three meals and also incredible cocktails and our personal favorite coffee in town. Oh and there is a bowling alley too. It's just crazy. Good crazy, of courses. Crazy good. We met up with Coury (and her amazing family) for brunch. It was good to catch up, and Goldie did nothing but feed our baby fever. She's amazing. A cute flower shop called Emma's!
Nashville spots we enjoyed + highly recommend:
This trip we loved Pinewood Social (for brunch, coffee, cocktails and hanging out in the middle of the day), Mas Tacos (for tacos, but also the cutest atmosphere and best tortilla soup I've ever had) and The Patterson House for the best (and friendliest!) cocktail experience we've ever had.
And a few favorites from last time: Loveless, BurgerUp, Barista Parlor, Marché, Las Paletas, Jenis and Crema.
We hope to visit again soon, Nashville! You're a lot of fun. xo. Elsie

These places all look and sound like so much fun! I have been dying to visit Nashville for ages, so this post isn’t helping my travel fever one bit, but it’s perfectly fine 🙂
What a fabulous time! Love your trip pictures! Looks like the weather is much warmer and sunnier there then here in the upper Midwest! Love it!

These little peaks in your life is what I enjoy most here (sadly, they are rare nowadays, but I get that what is private is supposed to stay private ;)So much love for the photos though 🙂 All the best to you Xx
Oh no, now I feel I need travel somewhere!

I love this post!!
I grew up in Nashville, and this makes me homesick for the south.
You definitely picked the best places to go to!
Mmm, tacos! I’ve never made it down to Nashville (I’m from Canada) and this will be so helpful when I finally decide to make the trip!
xx Becky
It’s funny because I live in Nashville and have not been able to go to Pinewood Social because the wait is always so long! Maybe the trick is to go in the middle of the day…
I have found that Holland House is an easier place to get quality cocktails and the wait is generally much shorter than Patterson House, too!
All of your other recommendations are spot on! 🙂
Lucky you! Nashville has always been a place I’ve wanted to go. One day I hope. Looks like it was a fun mini-trip.
Elsie. That hat! where did you get it?
I was recently in Nashville & went to most of the places you listed & loved them just as much! It definitely made me excited to go back [especially pinewood social!! soooo good!!] loved this post 🙂
Love my city! Next time you should check out Holland House. Its amazing. My husband used to bartend at The Pharmacy next door, which is owned by the same people. Completely different types of places, but both are excellent at what they specialize in.
I haven’t checked out Pinewood social but I actually have plans for brunch there on Friday! And I agree…Crema has some of the best coffee in Nashville. I work out of the original Crema a lot, so the fact they married into Pinewood is amazing!
Yay glad you loved Nashville! These are all some of my favorite places!
Yay! Glad you loved Nashville! These are all some of my favorite spots here! An old one people forget about that you should try next time is Monells…served family style at giant tables with other people…the menu is set and they just pass everything around!
My sister-in-law works at Mas Tacos, and I love their agua frescas, as well as all their other delicious food! Nashville is a wonderful place.
I spend too much time planning my never-gonna-happen move to Nashville. I want to eat my way silly.
What beautiful pictures! I have not been to Nashville since I was a little girl, but you have definitely given me some ideas of where to go when we visit. Especially Pinewood Social, my main priority in life is usually food 😉
