Today, I wanted to take a post to introduce you to Pink House Organics, which is a part of the November Oui Fresh Beauty Box. This post is not sponsored, by the way, it is just for fun … and if you enjoy it I’d be happy to highlight more clean beauty companies I have recently discovered. There are tons of companies (both that will be a part of our beauty box and some that won’t) I am constantly learning about. Clean beauty is such a rapidly growing space right now and it’s really exciting. (Nerd alert! I love this kind of stuff!)
Pink House is a family business, run by two sisters and their aunt. Their business has heartbreaking origins, dating back to when the girls’ mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Throughout her treatment process, she became more informed about harmful ingredients and developed an interest in clean beauty, which eventually led her to start this company. You can read their story here.
I tried the at home facial kit, which is a great idea, because I always say I am going to get facials more regularly (and manicures, and massages–haha), but in reality I am lucky to go a handful of times each year because life gets so busy.
I tested this full regimen (after these photos were taken) for a couple days and here’s what I loved:
I love the face wash, face cream and face fix oil as a combo for my night routine. I highly recommend the face cream for anyone who doesn’t want to use a face oil. It’s one of the best moisturizers I’ve tried.
I also tried the clay mask and liked it. While doing some research, I also found that there are three stages to a clay mask: the first two are beneficial, depositing nutrients into our skin (before the mask fully dries), the third is that the mask starts to suck moisture out of your skin … not good. You should always rinse your clay masks off while it’s *starting* to dry but is still a little tacky to the touch to avoid getting to this phase.
Then, when I found out the Pink Mask includes frankincense oil–one of my all-time favorite skincare ingredients–I wanted to mix up an application right away. This mask is very soothing and is great for those with more sensitive skin. I noticed after rinsing that my skin tone was more even. Keely also tried this mask; her skin is pretty sensitive and prone to redness and she saw even more dramatic results. Since clay masks tend to be drying, it is best to follow this mask up quickly with a heavier facial oil to reap full benefits.
The only thing I haven’t tried is the cranberry scrub, just because I rarely use physical exfoliants. It’s a beautiful color and smells amazing–so I’ll save it for a day when my skin needs a good polish.
Quite a few readers have asked me for a cleaner dry shampoo recommendation. I don’t use dry shampoo (I trained my hair to only need two washes a week), but Keely tried this one and loved it. They have two colors, blondie and hot chocolate.
The Glow Stick in Ice is what we have in the November beauty box, so if you subscribe you’ll be getting a mini tube to try. I love the different shades they have (Peach and Champagne are really pretty too). I’m a huge fan of highlighters and use them on my cheeks, as eyeshadow and on my inner eye (to the sides of my nose, next to each eye). So many you’ll see at stores are full of harmful ingredients, but it makes me happy that there are so many new clean alternatives on the market!
I love the face cream, it smells just like raspberries and is the prettiest light pink. I already talked about it above, but it’s a stand out product in this collection and so nice!
Last, but not least, you know I love a good face oil. The face fix serum is a great addition to my collection. I’m excited to take it with me on my next trip since the packaging will travel well. I roll this directly onto my face and then follow up with a bit of face cream.
I hope this review has been fun to read! I love a chance to highlight a fresh new company that is offering great performing clean skincare and beauty! Let me know if you have any questions! xx – Elsie

I really like the story behind the company and that it’s a family business, and the products look so good! I would love to try them!

Thank you! Since we’re a family biz I always have a soft spot in my heart for family businesses as well!
These are becoming some of my favorite posts. I can’t wait to try these, I have very sensitive skin and the pink mask and lotion are going to be on my must try list!
I hope you love them. I am really loving their products.
Definitely more clean beauty companies, please! We owe it to ourselves to clean up beauty and personal care products. We can all vote with our money for the ones who care for our health and the environment.
Totally agree!!!
The packaging is SO CUTE! I want to try that cranberry scrub.
Thanks for sharing, Elsie! I recently started researching and testing out natural beauty products, and you’ve been an amazing resource so far 🙂 Looking forward to checking these out!
YES, please highlight more companies! I have been researching so many companies trying to find the perfect face wash/moisturizor for my super dry skin. This company looks so lovely sadly I can’t use coconut oil as it irritates my skin. I’m still tempted to try the face cream. Is it a thick/rich moisturizor?
I started using the face cream a few months ago and it is really great. Not too oily, and a little goes a long way. And the smell, divine. Also I love seeing you guys feature Canadian brands! <3
First, I want to say that that fuzzy rug/ blanket, or whatever it is , is adorable. I need it in my life.
These products are so cute. I have never heard of this brand and I definitely want to try it out. The packaging is adorable. Everything looks so cool. I love trying out news brands, so for sure need to try these.

Love this! I have been slowly transitioning all my hair/body products over to more natural and sustainable versions. Would love to learn more about good companies out there. Thank you!
I would love it if you made more of these posts! And I appreciate that you took the time to include another person’s experience with the products as well, since every product can react differently to certain skin types. I’ve been a loyal 100% Pure customer since 2010, and I’m always looking for similar brands to try. I would much rather support small business! <3
Thanks so much for sharing this brand! I think I’m going to do my best to switch over to more organic face products. Can you talk about your obsession with frankincense oil – I’m now super curious!

Checked out this company because of your post, and was so happy to find they are Canadian based! A lot of good recommendations I see are for American based companies, but I love a good shutout to Canadian ones! Will definitely be trying their stuff thanks to your post; it’s always a happy day to find new goodies that don’t have a currency change. 😉 Thank you!
I freakin’ love Pink House!! I would LOOOOVE to see more reviews of natural skincare/beauty/cleaning companies!!
Love these clean beauty posts! Would also love to hear more about how you ‘trained’ your hair to need only 2 washes a week. I”m a gal who is a perpertual over-washer/dryer/styler. Every day…. every time I shower…. how do you step by step do this? I’d love to learn! Details on whether you get it wet when you shower, or re-blow dry would be helpful too! This is a world I can’t figure out! 🙂
Sponsored or unsponsored, I love reading the product / company spotlights here. I know you only recommend what you truly use and love. This company and their products look great! Plus PINK. I love anything pink 🙂
LOVED this post! Their products look amazing! Would love to have more posts like this. It’s great to know a company’s whole line is non-toxic, rather than just a few products. So I would really appreciate more posts on companies like this! (especially companies that offer more affordable products like this one seems to)
I am loving all the clean beauty in your blog. I have been reading forever, and love how the blog grows and expands as you and your families do.
I have moved to clean beauty and home cleaning products and am loving finding more and more products!
Thanks!!
Love this feature, thanks! I’d definitely be into seeing more natural beauty spotlights or reviews!
I had never heard of this brand before, but I love the history behind it and the products sound (and look!) so good! My skin is going through a really bad phase so I might have to give some of these products a try! x

Ever since having my daughter, I’ve stopped wearing foundation because I don’t like the idea of snuggling her face on mine with makeup on. I’ve always been a basic drugstore makeup kind of gal, but have been trying to slowly incorporate new clean beauty into my routine. Loved this post, just read up on them, their story left me misty-eyed. I purchased 5 items to try! I love the clean beauty posts, thank you for doing a huge part of the research for us! <3
Thank you, I love this natural beauty series! I went out and tried Herbivore Botanicals after you talked about how much you loved the brightening mask and I’m so glad I did…but Herbivore is a bit pricey! How would you say this line compares?
Herbivore is incredible and that mask is one of my all-time faves!
I don’t want to compare, since I love both brands, but I will say that FOR ME the stand out products from Pink House are the face wash, face cream, face oil and the glow sticks. xx!
Please keep the clean beauty coming!
Loved this post, thanks so much for sharing and would definitely be interested in more! Interesting that you do not use physical exfoliants much, I LOVE using them (I have hardy oily/combination skin, and a good scrub makes my skin feel happiest). 😀
I read that a lot of people over-exfoliate and that it’s sometimes not helpful for aging concerns. So I only use these gentle pads from First Aid Beauty now- https://www.firstaidbeauty.com/skin-care/collection/facial-radiance-products/exfoliating-facial-pads Everyones skin is different… so you do you! xx!!
I’m looking for a natural tinted moisturizer. Any recommendations? I’m a Latina with darker skin.
Love the article and will surely bebtrying the clay mask! I love love love all the natural possibilities there is out there for clean beauty products! My favorite brand to this point is Black Chicken Remedies: genius for sensitive skins and smell oh-so good! The face moisturizer and natural deodorant are my fav of the brand!
I love the packaging of it. Really nice…
