We’re kind of obsessed with cheese over here. But who isn’t? I mean-it’s only the most perfect food in the entire world. Cheese is also my go-to party food because it’s so simple! We have a lot of last minute parties at my house and I love that we can just pop over the wine center and grab a couple bottles of something and some cheese, crackers, nuts and a yummy salami. Easiest party ever!
Here’s a fun idea for adding your own special message to any cheese board:
We used a large alphabet cookie cutter set (we found this set on Amazon) to cut sliced cheese into a fun message. The cookie cutters we used are a little over three inches tall. We tried it with teeny tiny cookie cutters at first, but that was a fail. It’s also totally possible to do this with scissors if you don’t have cookie cutters. I love that the message can be customized for any holiday or occasion!
Fun detail, right? Any excuse to make a cheese tray is good enough for me! xo. elsie

Yum, I love a good cheese, especially with warm bread!!!
This is awesome! It would’ve been great to have when I did an ad series with letters cut out of cheese (and other foods) I had to draw on the cheese blocks, so this definitely would have saved time! If I ever have a dinner party, I will definitely do this. It would definitely get a few laughs 🙂
My gal pals and I are OBSESSED with cheese plates. A lot of times we skip meals and have cheese and meats instead (don’t forget the wine). Definitely a tray I will be trying out this weekend. Love!

That is so freakin’ cute. I love cheese – I feel like Wallace in Wallace & Gromit…”Mmmm, cheese, Gromit!”
Ohhhh cute! I’m thinking this could work with a veggie tray too! I sure do miss cheese since starting a Paleo diet:)

A cheese plate is always a must at a party! I like to have 4 different types of cheese: A hard cheese such as manchego, a soft cheese such as an aged brie, a goat cheese with herbs, and any kind of stinky cheese! 🙂 While living in Madrid, I got a crash course for great cheese plates.

SAY CHEESE in actual cheese is such a nice idea! I used to hate cheese when I was younger, but now i’m learning to appreciate the tastes and textures of some delicious kinds, like brie and blue! Yum!
