A Moscow Mule Love Story

Try a classic Moscow Mule (click though for the full recipe!)The Moscow Mule is Emma’s and my “cocktail of the year”. Last year we had a Whiskey Ginger phase, but this year is the year of “the Mule”. If you haven’t tried yet, I highly recommend it if you like refreshing and lightly sweet cocktails.

If you’ve never tried Ginger Beer it’s a non-alcoholicย “root beer” soda. It’s not the same thing as Ginger Ale. It’s less sweet. I like to think of Ginger Beer as Ginger Ale’s cooler, older sister. If you don’t drink you should try it with lime juice- SO good!Try a classic Moscow Mule (click though for the full recipe!) Moscow Mule, serves one

Try a classic Moscow Mule (click though for the full recipe!) There are other variations of the Moscow Mule that I also love. If you substitute the vodka for rum it’s called a Dark and Stormy. It’s slightly sweeter and really good. If you substitute the vodka for bourbon it’s called a Kentucky Mule. I guess it really just depends on which spirit you like best. I’m normally a bourbon girl, but with this drink I almost always stick with the classic vodka recipe. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’d love to hear if you’ve tried any other variations that you enjoyed!Try a classic Moscow Mule (click though for the full recipe!)
