I love playing around in the kitchen! Spending an entire afternoon making the perfect cake is a real treat. Actually, it's a double treat. If you know what I mean (kitchen pun!). But sometimes we need to throw together a meal in a hurry. Here are a few of our favorite meals that can be made in around 30 minutes.
Is it too soon for chili? I hope not, check out three vegetarian versions here. You don't need tons of ingredients to make a fast and fancy dinner! Try making red pepper shrimp scampi this week. You're gonna love these easy and delicious portobello burgers. Salads can actually be super filling and healthy! Try this sushi salad. Make take-out at home with this simple shrimp pad thai recipe. Need more salad ideas? Here are 5 easy summer salads. Soup doesn't have to be time consuming to make, try this quick black bean soup this weekend. Love this super healthy farro and kale salad! Mix flavors with this strawberry and balsamic vinaigrette salad. If you haven't already you should totally try cooking your pasta in red wine. It's awesome! Want breakfast for dinner? Try these southwestern style fried eggs. If you like fish you're going to love this pecan encrusted tilapia. A current favorite of mine is this easy pad see ew. Yum!A classic (with a little added spice!): caesar salad with anchovy croutons. Just a few ingredients make this red wine and mushroom pasta.
What about you? Do you have any favorite fast dinner tricks up your sleeve? xo. Emma + Elsie

these dinners look delicious. so many good pasta recipes here and I LOVE pasta.
One pot pasta – as demonstrated by thelondoner.me is one of my faves – in fact it’s dinner tonight http://www.thelondoner.me/2013/06/one-pot-pasta.html
They all look yummy. Breakfast for dinner is always my go-to when I don’t have time and the husband is hungry! It is fast and everyone is happy. Put an egg in a ramekin with tomatoes, avocados, onions, salt and pepper. Pop it in the toaster oven, set it for 10 minutes. Make a salad during that time. Voila!
