Happy (almost) New Year’s, friends! Maybe you’re hosting a get together this weekend or maybe you’re staying in and having a cocktail after your kiddos fall asleep? Whatever you may be up to, we thought it would be fun to put together a little round up of some of our favorite cocktails from the past few years. There’s something here for everyone, and just in case you aren’t drinking this holiday, don’t worry—we’ve got some great mocktail options here.
Nothing says holidays more than mulled wine—love this easy recipe.
Speaking of wine, if you’re looking for a few cute ways to serve wine, check out this NYE wine bar including a DIY for a frozen ice bucket.
Love a classic Old Fashioned, and this one gets a little update with the flavors of smoke and cinnamon.
If you’re looking for something festive and decadent, try this pumpkin pie martini recipe. Yum!
Love the flavors of this Persimmon Aperol Spritz, it’s also super light and refreshing.
And if you love a spritz as much as I do (current favorite drink!), you might love this Cranberry Spritz, as it’s very appropriate for the season.
Learn to make your own homemade Pimm’s for a classic Pimm’s Cup.
Jello shots are just plain fun and perfect for a party! We love these Moscow Mule jello shots. A few other favorites include: lemon drop, mojito, and pineapple upside down cake.
If you don’t want to go to the trouble of making jello shots, we get it. 🙂 Why not try these easy Rosé gummy bears or vodka and rum soaked gummy bears!
This peach and basil whiskey sour is pretty and delicious. And here is the recipe for an easy at home classic whiskey sour.
We love this Chamomile Elderflower Tom Collins because it’s an easy classic with a fun twist, plus it’s really pretty. 🙂
If you like gimlets, be sure to try this Celery and Lime Gimlet recipe.
I know most people think of daiquiris as a summer drink. And although I do love them in the summer, I also love them in the winter. This is probably the classic that I turn to most often; it’s just so dang tasty. Check here for how to make the best fresh or frozen daiquiri.
Needing something festive for a crowd? Try this spiced cranberry punch.
I know not everyone wants a frozen drink in the wintertime, but these next two are worth it. Trust me. Try this frozen pisco sour.
I fell in love with bushwackers the first time I had one, and this spiced vanilla bean bushwacker is my favorite at home version.
Elsie is the Bloody Mary lover between the two of us, but I must admit that they are a pretty great drink for a brunch. Here’s a Guinness Bloody Mary recipe plus all of Elsie’s favorite Bloody Mary recipes she’s shared over the years.
And here’s another great one for ringing in the new year, or for hosting a great New Year’s Day brunch. Love this strawberry and grapefruit mimosa. Yum!
Whatever you are up to this weekend, we hope you have a happy and safe New Year’s. Cheers! xo. Emma + Team ABM
