July was crazy around here! Here are a few highlights…
We got an inside look at Emma's and Trey's wedding portraits (part one, two, and three) and shared their amazing June wedding ceremony. Just in case all those photos didn't give you a high enough dose of wedded bliss (how could you ever get enough, right?), we adored their wedding video as well. Go Tremma!
We also shared exciting news about our new photography book (which will be released August 13th) and talked about our book writing experince so far. In conjunction with our book release, we also announced a bonus PDF that includes 5 projects (not included in the book) that you can score if you pre-order our book before its release date!
Although we were working some crazy hours this month finishing our second book, we still found time to talk about scrapbooking and make a few cute projects like the photo to wood transfer, painted backyard tiles, paper flower tutorial, and gold dipped hanging planters.
In our "At Home With…" series, we loved getting a sneak peek into some fabulous homes (like Jennifer Bewerse and Antonia Osswald's beautiful spaces). We also were excited to announce that we are now taking submissions for our "At Home With…" series, and we can't wait to see what other amazing homes are out there.
This July we celebrated our sixth blogging anniversary (hooray!!), and we took a walk down memory lane to remember all that has happened since the blog started.
We've had so much fun with our 30-day self-portrait challenge on Instagram, and we can't believe that we're already more than halfway through!
Of course we couldn't let July go by without making some amazing food like Emma's trail mix cookie ice cream sandwiches, Nutella swirl ice cream, blackberry cobbler, broccoli pasta salad, and homemade granola bars. Yum!
We're heading to Austin today for a fun event and let's just be honest… TACOS. Have a great weekend! Elsie + Emma

I HAVE to start working on scrapbooks and photo albums. I read way too much post-apocalyptic fiction and I always think about how all of my photos are digital and would just be gone if something crazy happened. Will definitely be scouring y’all’s tutorials and suggestions soon!
