I know we've mentioned this like a million times before, but we love our hometown (go Springfield!) here in southwest Missouri. Needless to say, we’re super excited to represent the Midwest as a judge in H&M’s 50 States of Fashion contest and help them launch their new US online store (goes live today)! To some, the Midwest is just flyover country. But there’s something special here that just takes a visit or two to see. Maybe it’s all the friendly people or the four seasons or that you’re always a 20-minute drive from something beautiful. I don’t know. There’s just something about the Midwest, man.

Here's how it works: One grand prize winner will get a $1,000 shopping spree to H&M and a trip to NYC for an event at Fashion Week. To enter, post a picture of yourself wearing something from H&M on Instagram and tag it #HMShopOnlineMO (the last two letters being the abbreviation of your state). You can see and vote on all the looks here—looks with the most likes become semifinalists. Then the judges will choose a finalist from their region (Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest and West). And H&M will select the grand prize winner.
