We just set up our new tiny record table in the corner of our living room. It's perfect for listening to holiday records while we're eating dinner or baking in the kitchen. The metal table is a recent thrift find that will probably be getting a new coat of paint in the near future. π Hope you are having a wonderful week. Back to wrapping presents for me… xo. Elsie
*Our turntable was provided by ModCloth. You can find it here.

I love it! I just bought a record player for my husband (ahemMEahem) and I can’t wait to use it! And I thoroughly believe it’s not Christmas without Bing.
I love this idea! Vintage, yet workable for today.

Of course you put a bird on it. π
Angie- I would recommend getting the best turntable you have the budget for. This one is great for the price (which is pretty awesome!). I also have the full size Crosley and it’s, of course, a little better. π XO!
So simple and charming π

I just got a record player as well, and I cannot figure out for the life of me the best way to store the records. milk crates? a bookshelf? i’m stumped. I do love that little table!
I love the table, and the turntable. This is such a cute little corner! I can hear christmas songs playing in my head as I type. Also, cooking along to music is so much fun π

Hey Elsie, I’m in the market for a record player, and I keep reading a bunch of mixed reviews over Crosley. So, I thought I’d ask you, and then I saw this post! Yay! I figured you or Jeremy would know what you are talking about. Thanks!
That table is absolutely perfect for it! So cute.
Those garlands are something, yeah?
I want a record corner like that!! π

You should wrap the record player cover like a present!
Wow, what a coincidence. I have that table, except in green, and just set it up the other day intending to use it as a record stand since I’m getting a new player for Christmas. π

Elsie- Can you tell us what model of full-size Crosley you have. I really want a stand alone record player with good sound!
Thanks for the table idea.I think that’s an old fold-down type-writer table.
gergeous…
Love the color…
Elsie- you probably already know this but that’s actually a sewing machine cart! I gave my grandmother’s Singer Sewing Machine from the 1950s and its sitting on the same style cart!
It’s a typewriter table! I painted mine turquoise!
I love this idea of putting a record player in the dining room! I have my eye on the blue version from Modcloth.
You just transported me somewhere in my mind I didn’t know existed. It’s like a comfy, cozy world of music and good memories. What a beautiful little corner of the world!
Love this corner
Quite adorable!!!

I’ve been displaying my She and Him Christmas album next to our turntable. We have a display rack that we switch out for the season/holiday/whenever we get a new record that we want to show off. I love the idea; it’s an easy way to be festive!
You can’t go wrong with Bing. π
I listened to that Bing Crosby record every Christmas when I was a kid. LOVE IT!
That looks great and I am waiting for Christmas. It would be sooo soon. Have a great day.
