December is here, and I am loving it. One thing I am in the mood for this month: staying home! I think it’s a combination of the fact that it’s cold outside, and there’s a Christmas tree in my living room. I mean, it’s cold outside. So I’d rather not go outside. It’s warm in my house. I think I’ll stay there. PLUS my little Christmas tree looks so cute at night when the lights are on. I love it! And I only get it for one month out of the year, so enjoy it while it lasts. I just want to stay home, read a book, wear a cozy sweater and matching socks (!!!!!!), and cook something delicious. I’ve been wanting to get the pasta maker attachments for my mixer and give homemade pasta a whirl. I’d love to get an e-reader. Fun fact: I still check out books from the library. And extra candles around the house are an absolute must, especially if they smell like bonfires or baked goods. xo. Emma

I want ALL of those! But I’d settle for #1,3 and 6 🙂
I love love love my Kindle! I really love that Amazon partnered with libraries so you borrow books. 🙂
That dress would be so cute with a nice pair of platform heels!

And I think being a homebody for the month of December is the perfect way to begin :]

Love the socks! That’s one thing that I could never get enough of!
I love the bag the most but all of these items are gorgeous!

I still check out books from the library too. I love it!
Love library books! I can’t get enough of them! It’s like taking them for a test run before you buy them! I would love a pasta maker myself if only i could muster up the energy to make it enough. The only time I’ve made pasta was a spinach lasagna for my son’s first birthday party. Rolling them out was fun though and it didn’t require a machine.

I was lucky enough to get a nook for christmas last year and it has completely changed my life! I love it!! That is definitely something that I hope you get!! =)

What a pretty and rich color for the Kitchenaid! A great list overall.
I have the kitchenaid pasta attachments, and they are AMAZING. I do kind of like to use the extruder ones (spaghetti, rigatoni, etc) better than the press, but they’re all great and so easy. Such a nice cozy collection here!
Love it! I’m wishing for a Kitchenaid for Christmas too, but in ice blue! Thanks for your amazing blog 🙂

I’m with you on chilling at home, and you’ve just reminded me that I’ve gotten completely side tracked and my tree is waiting to be put up!
Love the bag! I totally agree with you…cold days at home wearing cozy clothes!! 🙂

If you get a kindle, I think you can still check out books at the library, they will just be electronic. At least you can do that in Seattle! Your house sounds cozy and warm, I would stay inside too!!
The library is the best! And seriously underused. If you have a smartphone, tablet, or ereader, you might be able to check out ebooks too! The information is usually available on your library website and makes checking out books even more convenient. :]
great wishlist 😀

I love the bag, it’s fantastic!
This is such a cute list- I lust after a Kitchen Aid….and I have loved my Kindle since I was given one last Christmas but am an avid library user. Can’t be beat 🙂
For me are the num. 1,2 and 6 winners. Perfect choice. Have a nice day.

First I read that you wanted to read a book with matching socks… then I realized you meant you wanted to match a sweater with socks. Hehe. Being so warm here (Australia) during Christmas, all I dream about is paddle-boards and bikinis 😉
So great pick on your wish list, love them.

There’s a Christmas Tree ban at our place this Christmas.
My fiance was driving home from work. There was a truck carrying loose logs in front of him, and to avoid a loose log jumping out of the bed of the truck and hitting him, he decides to pass the truck. When he got just a bit over, he noticed an ownerless Christmas Tree lying in the middle of Interstate 45 here in Houston (giant Freeway). He swerved back into the lane to miss it, but he clipped the Christmas tree and it spun him out of control until he was stopped by another truck hitting him. His car is gone, he’s fine, but right now he can’t look at trees that claimed his metal baby. Which is fine, we pooled our Christmas money together and got him a decent car for the time being (he works on cars), so no money for presents or Trees this year, but at least he has his life right?

Hi
Link #7 brings me back to the Pasta attachments and not the cute Nook/Kindle covers.
Thanks
I love my e-reader. Even better? My library has ebooks for borrowing! I’ve never yet purchased a book for my nook, but I’ve read dozens on it!! Totally appeals to the saver in me;)
Oh yeah I saw the pasta maker! I don’t have a mixer, but I’d like one, and think the attachments are so cool! Great post!
Sarah
love the colors on your wishlist! if you check out books from the library you can still do that on an e-reader. the ones from barnes&noble are compatible with your local library. all you need is a library card and(free download) adobe digital editions. i love this blog!
I made a wishlist as well, it was somehow hard to choose things for it. There are so many pretty things I don´t really need…
Oh KitchenAid, be still my heart. When I met the hubs and we eventually decided to move in together, I found out he came complete with a KitchenAid stand mixer with all the attachments that he got at a garage sale for $30.
Somehow, I knew that was the man I was going to marry.
Awesome list. Love the orange details.
Emma! Your link to #7 on your wishlist is the wrong link! 🙂 You have the same link as the ravioli maker (#1). Just givin’ ya a heads up! 🙂 Is that suppose to be a tablet? 🙂

Love the orange bag and chevron socks! Such a darling wishlist!

yay you fixed it 🙂
Love all the hints of orange here! Staying in is definitely the best thing to do right now. xo

Oooh that bag. I need. xo
I am obsessed with the library! I get all my books from there if I can. I don’t ever read books twice, so I get irritated with ‘book clutter’. Also, I’m always late on the scene when it comes to popular books, so it’s not like I can re-gift because most people have read them.

Love these colors Emma! The chevron socks are ADORABLE! 🙂
what a list, hope you get everything on it from mister santa 😉

Great colors and choices!
I love all these picks, Emma! Especially those socks and the decorative pillow. And that mixer is easily on my Christmas list. 😉
I’m the exact same way. Every day I find myself waiting for the sun to go down so I can turn the lights on on my tree! And I’m constantly in the mood to cook. In fact, I asked my boyfriend for a KitchenAid Mixer for Christmas. He about died when he saw the price, but I think he’s gonna get it. And then I’ll buy all of the attachments I want. Loving your Christmas list!
Cute bag! 🙂

The fireside candle from Anthropologie is amazing. A little note from me to you.
I need those socks!
Oh if I just had that Kitchen Aid mixer I just KNOW I’d bake… I just know it =P
an e-reader is VERY high on my list.
i’ve been trying to resist them, since i just love paper books..
but i realized i read much less since my bag is always so full of books for college…
so i might just give in, it’s the perfect way to spend all those hours on a train 🙂
xo, cheyenne
Just lovely! Can you do a post about how to make a wish list like this one? I can’t figure it out for the life of me. I’m hoping to have a blog as beautiful as yours someday!
I love my library and stil check out books too. And the eReader I got when I graduated from college (with a degree in English) gets it’s share of use too. Still there is something about having real books around.
Cute! Love the orange mix master!
