Last week I had a very happy mail week, because I got a few new (amazing) books. I had pre-ordered some, and others I had just been meaning to check out for a while. I spent a big part of my Sunday morning just flipping through these books. Getting inspired to cook and make things!
Elsie and I are big fans of Young House Love, so we were stoked to hear they had finished their first book. Their blog is awesome, hilarious and a lot of fun. Not surprising I found so many projects I want to make for my home just after looking through their book
for a few minutes. 
I have been on a mission to collect more cookbooks in 2012, and lucky for me some of my favorite food bloggers have had books come out this year. I have been reading Smitten Kitchen for almost four years now. I think Deb is probably the best home cook on the planet, and I love her new cookbook

When amazing recipes are paired with beautiful food photography, I get pretty excited. I am big fan of Sprouted Kitchen. And as soon as I was done thumbing through their new cookbook,
I set it on my coffee table. It might not be a coffee table book, but it's certainly beautiful enough to be! So excited to try out some of their recipes.
So if you are starting in on your holiday wishlist (or have any cooks or home decor gurus to buy for), I highly recommend checking out some of these books. They've got me feeling inspired this week! xo. Emma

Oooh, these all look great! I am a frequent library cookbook hoarder, and love to keep them on my coffee table 🙂 What greater photos to flip through than those of FOOD, haha!

The Sprouted Kitchen cookbook is my favorite. I’m still waiting to receive Smitten Kitchen, can’t wait!
Love the cookbooks, although personally I wouldn’t purchase anything cooking related because I can’t cook. I did, however, started reading a book called Behind the Beautiful Forevers by Katherine Boo, def. recommend reading it!

Oh I would like to have Young House Love book. The cook books look nice too but I just don’t fancy cooking much 🙂 Anyway all books have really nice design and catch my attention at the first look. But it would be great if there are e-versions of these books 🙂

Smitten Kitchen really is one of the best food blogs there are; in fact, just last week, I made one of Deb’s recent recipes, the pear and chocolate chip scones, and they were incredible! So exciting to see her writing a book (and all bloggers who do, for that matter)…I’l have to get my hands on these soon! 🙂
