We're loving this hand lettering series by artist Lisa Congdon. These illustrations are a part of her current 365 project. She also just released her first handwritten font. (it's cute!)
I would love to do a 365 project someday. Have you ever participated in one? xo. elsie

Such a cute font, and I love her work. it’s so simplistic and unique. I have participated in a 365 photo’s a year project but I’m sort of on a hiatus from it =X It’s actually very exhausting! heh
LOVE all these! I just saw someone else post this the other day. So cute!
As for a 365 day project. LOVE the concept, Not sure if I would stick to it!

So pretty! I love all those prints! <3
Thanks for sharing!
This is awesome! I love those quotes and I’m definitely going to check out her font!
I did a 365 self portraits project when I was just starting to get into photography back in 2008! It really helped me because it forced me to be creative and to constantly try new things!
I have participated in a 365 days photo project for 3-years with one of them being a year of self-portraits. I haven’t done one since 2010 though. I loved doing it, but it is so freeing not to have to do it. π
I have been watching her work for a little while now and I just love watching her further her skills in her craft!
Wow, it’s so different from her usual work and et just as awesome!
Hmm, I think I’ve tried 365 projects in the past but I always end up forgetting to them. I’d love to actually stick with one someday.
Love these… I’ve been getting really into experimenting with different handwriting styles and fonts. I keep seeing these images around, and absolutely love them! I think they’d be a great DIY art idea, handwriting with great quotes! Especially love the quote by the dear, late Julia Child π

As a design and typography nerd, I can say with total honesty that this is gorgeous! I love the Julia Child quote and design.

I absolutely love these prints!! π Im doing a 365 picture of the day project right now! π So far I’ve been able to keep up with it and I have a picture of something that happened every day of 2012! π It’s like my own digital scrapbook!
I started a 365 watercolour quote project in january but it lasted only 2 months! I plan on starting it again next january! π
Amazing month girls! All your hard work really pays off. Beautiful and lovely and so well put together. Excited for August! Kimxo
Thanks for sharing! I’m loving each and every one of these quotes/illustrations! Wildly simple yet so pleasing to the eye! What a gem!
Those are really cool. Thanks for sharing!
I love the 365 project idea, but I’m not sure what I would be able to do for that many days in a row. Anyway, thanks for sharing. I’m heading off to Lisa’s blog to check it out. Love it!
I love artwork with quotes, so simple and inspiration! I attempted two Project 365 for photography and usually fail within the first 3 months… I underestimated the project a lot.
I’m strongly considering doing a 365 photo project, starting on my birthday this year (October 1!). I’m going to check out that font now!
wow these are some great prints. i love all the fonts.

No I have never done the 565 day challenge before. It looks really interesting though. I think I might try it next year!
Thanks for the idea Elsie
That Julia child quote is perfection, does the artist sell her prints? They are simple and lovely! I would love to try 365 someday…it would be an interesting adventure!
Love these! I tried to do the photo a day but it is hard!
I’d love these on my wall
I love fonts, so gorgeous.

I started one, whereby I would take a photo of where I have been each day. I ended up stopping it because I kept forgetting to update it.
I love her work too!

I love these! love the simplicity.
The idea of being engaged in a 365 days project sounds interesting and attention catching. I’d love to try it. Anyway I should figure when to start if and a way to keep interested in it so It can actually last 365 days.
Thanks for the idea girls.
Have a great week.

I love this idea! I’m making a 365 project too. Every day I writte in a little notebook something I learned during the day and I make a drawing.
Here you can see my project: http://www.learningsomethingnew365.tumblr.com
Have a good day!
Love her art! I’ve never done a 365 day challenge. I think the most I’ve done was 30 days. Hmm, that’s 335 days short…wow, I feel inadequate, ha.

This is so pretty! And I just realised I am doing something very similar π Started my own 365, concentrated on qoutes, not long ago. This is a big inspiration!
You can check it out in my web π
Also, there is a very big 365 Project about clouds that once won the best personal blog award (I believe). You will easily find it in Google. It’s been going on for 3 years now.
I personally believe that project 365 is incredibly useful for photographing enthusiasts as it challenges you to practise every day and to try out new things.
PS. Part of the idea for my next (yes, I already have thoughts about my next 365..) came from your blog!
I’ve been following her on this series and I love it. I’ve never been a part of any sort of 365 project, but would lvoe the challenge of doing so one day.

I am OBSESSED with her. (And the John Waters quote!) She’s actually inspired me to do a 365 type project….so far so good! π
I really love this ! Especially the Julia Child quote… thanks for sharing ! π
These prints are so adorable! π I really love handwritten fonts because they add that personal touch! π Even though it’s just a font, it looks like it has been written by hand! π

Thank you so much for sharing – these are beautiful and so fun. Her etsy shop is great too. I’ve been looking for some lovely prints for my dining room, and now I’ve found them!
Great messages! And the font is really cool ^^
I love her work! And I’m currently in my second year of D365, which is a 365 photo project for people with diabetes – both Type 1 and Type 2. When I started, I wasn’t sure I would stick with it through the first year, but then it turned out to be a fantastic way to get to know other people and to learn from their experiences as well as my own. I recommend 365s to everyone. π
I love all of these. π

i love this font – it makes me want to write something very powerful/funny/moving/witty – you get the idea – probably not all in one….
I love this, inspires me to try this 365 challenge too!
Love this font!! Check out my blog: http://thechicstreetblog.blogspot.com/
Yes, I’m currently doing my own 365 project – I’ve been doing a cartwheel everyday since January 1! I’ve been lucky to travel a lot this year and have been able to do cartwheels in wonderful and amazing places like Easter Island and Venice! I put videos of the cartwheels up each evening on my website. I highly recommend a 365 project – the discipline and joyful surprises that come into your life because of it are more than you could’ve ever expected!

I use an app called Project 365 where you put a pic & a quote a day in for a year. I’ve been doing it for two years now & its so fun to look back on random days a year ago to see what I was doing.
I adore Lisa as well. She’s a truly talented lady.

I’m doing a daily drawing challenge for the month of August, it’s only one month rather than the whole year but it’s still quite a task for me! You can see my daily drawings at http://www.flickr.com/photos/gabriellec/ and the hastag on twitter is #ippdailydraw in case you want to check out others’ drawings, there’s a few of us joining in.
I love Lisa Congdon’s style, definitely my kind of typography.
Great post, thank you!
I love the these quotes, especially Sylvia Plath’s.
wow! love it. it has such a vintagey-romantic-amazing feel to it
Such nice illustrations! Really cute:)
I am for the first time trying out a 365 project, a photo a day (on flickr) I am a person who starts a lot of things but often fails finishing…but I am still going:) (even though itΒ΄s really difficult many days and I canΒ΄t say I like all the pics I posts, but at least I AM taking at least one photo a day (this far:) )
Keep up your amazing work!
