Fun! It’s funny you mention the sashimi, because I’ve always said that if I ever make it back to Hawaii (Kauai 2004 ), I vow to only eat fish and pineapple! And drink lava flows :). Gosh, I miss it!

A: You should definitely rent a car and drive around the whole island. It only takes half a day. There are tons of cute shrimp trucks and shaved ice places. I honestly can’t remember the names of the spots we went, but we used yelp to help each day. 😀 Have SO MUCH fun!!!

The marriage goals are a little more personal than some other goals I’ve shared here on the blog, but here are a couple examples… last year one of our goals was to set up our newlywed home and host some dinner parties for friends (actually a lot of work considering we both work a LOT…. so that helped motivate us) and this year one of our bigger goals is to find a home we love, move and settle in! 😀 Just making priorities together about how we’re going to spend our time! XOXO

I was in Hawaii last October and hit Fumi’s and had the best shaved ice with sweetened condensed milk at Matsomoto’s. I see you were at both! The spicy garlic shrimp was my favorite at the “scary shrimp bus!”

Wow, I admit these photos made me a bit jealous, in the good sense though, coming home from a picnic in a park close by, where we like to hide away from London’s noisy side, my boyfriend and I decided to close our eyes and imagined that we were just walking down to the beach…we were on our way :)) Then an ambulance came, and the police and then the firefighters…We woke up instantly! :))
