I love lace, especially this time of year! Today I want to share a super easy technique for stitching up a lace headband. You can do this project is less than 10 minutes! Enjoy…
Supplies Needed: Three types of lace (1 yard of each is more than enough!), scissors, needle and thread. 1. measure your head from ear to ear (just below the ear) over the crown of your head. This will be the visible part of your headband. Cut three pieces of lace this length. 2. Stitch these three pieces together on each end and add a 10 inch piece of lace to each side (this will be the part of your headband that ties under your hair. 3. It's that simple! Wear your new piece with your hair styled up or down. This headband would be super cute with this style or this style!
Have fun stitching up something pretty for Spring! xo. elsie
Ps. This pretty headband was modeled by our bestie, Rachel and photographed by Janae Hardy. ♥

Lovely DIY! The Damsel in a Dress
Thanks, I’ve been wanting to duplicate the lace headbands I’ve been seeing in stores for a while! Although I think I will need to use elastic instead of thread around the back, otherwise it will just slide right off my head.
How beautiful, feminine and romantic. I adore all things lace. This is really lovely. I’m going to give this a try.

These dye sticks seem like they’d be a lot of fun to play around with on all kinds of things. You ladies are such an inspiration! 🙂

This is so pretty! I think I’ll use elastic for the bottom, though. Every time I try to tie a knot there, my hair gets tangled in it 🙁
