Hi friends! I just wanted to pop in and share a few instagram photos from our time in Austin. Documenting our happy days together with my iPhone camera has become one of my favorite things to do. Here are some snapshots of the little things that made this week extra magical…

I adore Austin! We went down there for New Years a couple years ago, and had a blast. I would totally move down there if I could.
Make sure to check out the bats flying over the river at sunset! I know it sounds a little creepy, but all the locals told me to to check it out but I forgot to! Maybe it’s not the right time of year, though…
Will you please, please, tell me how you do your hair like in the pictures where you have it up with a scarf around it? My hair has got so long I need to learn some nicce ways to put it up or it will just look dull, because it’s very flat.
Oh my gosh, I want REAL tacos so bad now! Living in Ohio is hard sometimes. I need to get back to Austin asap. My family thinks I visit because I love them, but it’s mostly for the tacos. (just kidding . . . mostly)

I love Austin so much! I’m glad y’all are enjoying y’alls time around Texas. It’s my home state; I’m originally from San Antonio. You should take some time to visit the River Walk, the Alamo and all that jazz that S.A. has to offer. 🙂
My gosh. Everything is so lovely romantic. Your hair scarf is adorbs!! May I ask how you keep it in place? Mine always move on me, argh! Currently planning a getaway for Mr. And I. These photos have inspired me!

If you have kids someday, they’re going to have so much to look back on when they want to know more about you and Jeremy, how you met, and what the early days of marriage were like. What a wonderful thing to leave for them 🙂
Aww you’re making me miss home! I moved from Austin to Boston last fall for college. So glad you had a great time there; it really is one of the best cities in the world!
Austin is a wonderful place, but you should check out San Marcos! There’s a super cute little coffee shop there called Wake the Dead Coffee. Super stylish little place… totally recommend it!
You’re headed for Houston next? My home.
Then I recommend heading to Berripop for the best frozen yogurt ever.My favorite location is in Rice Village. Then you should head to Taxi Taxi or Buffalo Exchange for some shopping. Now if you’re looking for things to do during the night, you should head to Poison Girl bar or Boheme. Both great laid back places. I hope you enjoy Houston. It’s a great city to live in. 😀
AIRSTREAM! I may have an unhealthy obsession with Airstreams, and while driving the Alcan Highway (Alaska-Canada-Seattle) a few years back I saw a classic muscle-car towing an egg-sized Airstream and I fell in love.
These are WONDERFUL!! I absolutely LOVE Austin, one of my best friends lives there so I get to visit every once in awhile. Thanks for sharing! Your eye for detail is so wonderful.

oh you’re going to LOVE houston! make sure you make it to the montrose/westheimer area…. so hip and full of life! Lots of vintage shops and things. Barnaby’s Cafe is also a must 🙂

my husband and i are looking to move to austin in the near future! isnt that city just awesome? so much character! we love the mix of the urban, city vibe with the country, bbq style. such an amazing place. if you ever go back, lake travis is really cool, and salt lick bbq is a MUST! its a bbq where you can byob! picnic tables everywhere, fresh-squeezed lemonade and delicious food!
seriously you are making me want to go to texas so much it’s not even fair dude. *sigh* maybe i’ll make it to the lone star state eventually. also your flower headband is rad you should totally put up a tutorial 😀
