I know that time/effort/work was put into it…but…
compared to your last two collections, this feels rushed, incomplete, and almost like you’re taking your readership/fans for granted – like just because you put the Red Velvet name on it and call it a ‘collection’, you expect everyone to eat it up.
it’s a jumper you already debuted in a different fabric and one dress in two lengths – neither of which or inspired or something that isn’t already being sold all over the place in stores like F21.
and the scarves. two prints. and they are scarves. I feel like they shouldn’t be a main focal point of a ‘collection’- but instead something that would accentuate the collection when styled with the different pieces.
Even the styling (MAJOR disappointment), models, photos…everything about this feels half assed.
There was literally no excitement leading up to the launch. There was nothing to even be excited about.
The DIY posts are even starting to lose originality and quality…and quite frankly, people come to YOUR blog to hear from YOU…not a bunch of contributors.
I know you just won that apartment therapy thing and your page views are out of control – and you’re making a substantial income from sponsors – but despite all that, I feel like you’re at the beginning of a downward spiral….
…which is hugely sad because you used to be – as recently as a few months ago – one of my favorite blogs.
