Today, I thought it would be fun to share two different stylings for one piece of clothing. I loved the dress and the colder weather has me inspired to try lots of different layering ideas!
In styling one, I wore my dress over jeans with boots and a jacket. Needless to say this day was extra cold and I needed the layers! I love the little bit of chevron peeking out and that when you wear a dress under a jacket it can almost look like a skirt. β₯
Outfit Details: Dress c/o Shop Sosie, Jacket/Target, Boots/Aldo, Bag c/o Rebecca Minkoff, Knit Turban gifted from my sweet pal, Julie.
In styling two, I wore knee socks and my comfiest boots. The little pocket belt is my favorite new accessory. It's perfect for keeping little things like lip gloss or my id. If I ever wear a shorter skirt in the winter I always wear tights or knee socks so I don't freeze. I love knit hats. I try not to wear them everyday, but I wear them way way too much in the winter months. β₯
Outfit Details: Dress c/o Shop Sosie, Pocket Belt c/o ModCloth, Socks/Target, Boots c/o Seychelles Footwear.
I hope your day has been wonderful. I spent the whole day doing final touches for my home tour photo shoot tomorrow… Yep, I'll finally be sharing photos of our little newlywed pad very soon. Can't wait! xo. elsie

I was never really introduced to chevron until I found your blog a few years back, and I’d have to say that the more I see it on you, the more I love it!
I love every detail in both outfits and how they both look different but equally adorable. Those green boots are killer, too.

The dress is gorgeous! I love the look of a leather jacket paired with a girly dress- I think it stops either from overpowering each other.

I’m actually surprised with how amazingly you can pull out a dress over jeans. I used to do it a lot a few years ago but I guess it never looked how amazing as you do!
and I totally agree on berets/knit hats! They’re so comfy and pretty you just wish you had them in every single colour to wear everyday π
