This past month was all kinds of amazing! I got to see my baby brother get married, visit a city for the very first time and work on a bunch of new projects for Red Velvet. In November I am looking forward to sharing photos of our home, baking lots of pies and putting up our Christmas tree! I already have an over-the-top number of Holiday gift D.I.Y.s planned, but if you have a special request feel free to let me know! xo. elsie

Wow, it’s great that you have so many highlights this month! I really loved all your diys and outfit posts.
As for special requests for gift ideas I actually do have one: I think that it is always very very hard to think of presents for my grandparents (especially handmade) so it would be great if you could share something suitable for them as well (only if you can come up with something of course, it is such a hard task!)
Have a lovely day!
October is my favourite month! I’m so sad it’s over.

Ooooh! Can’t wait for Diy Holiday Projects – I’ve tried to get started on my handmade gifts, but a few simple little tutorials would be greatly appreciated! π Men are so hard to “make” for! S xx

I’m with Hannah- my maternal grandparents are impossible to shop for! They already have everything! They’re always so generous to me (and my husband) but I have such a hard time coming up with what to get them for birthdays and Christmas. I’ve done knitted gifts and food gifts in the past and was thinking about the tree stump coasters as a possibility.
I’m glad you had a lovely October–it’s definitely one of my favorite months! I’m totally making one of those lace scarves.
October flew by! I can’t even believe it’s over already! I’d better get started on scholarship applications!
Dear Elsie,
Thank you for making my October tastier, prettier, and more colorful!
Love, Leslietheyellowgirl
Oh I love how you put these all together since some of them I made mental notes on my “to DIY” list, especially the photo to fabric, canvas portrait, and floral suitcases, or at least those are ones I actually plan on doing, which is rare for me with DIY tutorials. Thanks so much for always sharing these gems!
Happy November : )

I think one of the local bar owners here in Jacksonville is a reader of your blog, she decked out her venue in adorable garlands like yours for their Halloween party. I’m planning to do the same for the holidays in my home, probably much to my husband’s dismay! Can’t wait to see more DIYs!
holiday gifts are a good idea, cant wait! you could give some ideas for gifts to (our) bf, cause im having serious problems with it already, im not good in buying gifts :S … you know, something nice, and special ~ ^^
Ah well your comment! I did you good!
