This vintage coat came from a lot of clothing we bought for the shop. It fit and I loved it, so I stole it!
I picked this vintage trench up at a thrift this summer. It's a different style than I usually wear, but I love it.
This coat is borrowed from Emma. We share a lot of clothing. I might give this back, or I might not. π
I love this little coat! I want to wear it with a long sleeved mini dress this winter.
This capelet is one of my favorite pieces. I bought it at our neighbor vintage store. It was really long, so I had it cropped short.
My mama's letter jacket from high school. Isn't it special? I have a cool Buffalo Gals sweater of hers also. These are really fun to wear! xo. elsie

Such a dreamy collection! You should totally share more of your collections, you have a great eye for cute things.
I have a vintage coat collection too. It’s grown to over 50 (cringe) when I don’t actually live anywhere cold! I adore them though so I can’t give them up, though I am on probation from buying more. These are all lovely! I heart the cream one.
Marie @ Lemondrop ViNtAge I’m having a giveaway…
They are all so lovely! I am addicted to buying coats, which is kinda silly since I live in FL! We do get cold weather, but not enough to justify the coat collection I wish I had!

I love these! My fave is definitely the brown capelet, I don’t think I’ve been lucky enough to ever find a capelet at a thrift store! Though I do own a fabulous suede coat with rounded lapels that was my mom’s in the 70s
LOVE. i’m getting into coats as well.. they’re so fun π love your hair – i’m thinking about bangs now.. π

Nice jackets! I had a beautiful hounds-tooth one I surprisingly got at Walmart. It was in the old lady section and had a faux fur collar that was detachable. I wore it all through high school with my black rim glasses and mini pompadour. I sure miss that jacket :'(

My favorite coat is the red trench! I love it. And if I were you, I wouldn’t give the coat back to Emma!! ha ha.

Oh my goodness, that cream coloured coat is a dream (although they’re all lovely)!
xx.
Very nice. You are all ready for winter π
Elsie, I’m so glad you posted this. It reminded me of a coat I’ve been meaning to ask you about. I found a coat a few years ago at Style boutique that I loved, but it was out of my price range and the owner wasn’t going to budge on the price. It was a white, leather coat…long, maybe thigh length. I was wondering if you knew anything about it. I know it’s a long shot, but if it is still around, I’d be interested in purchasing it. I really liked it, it fit well and was in great shape. Let me know if you’ve seen it.

Found your blog recently and I am loving it. I just inherited a bunch of old clothes from my grandmother and now I too can have vintage coats! Ha!
xo
The cape is really unique. Very inspirational. As far as I know, we don’t really have letterman jackets and class rings as a “thing” in canada. A lot of the classic high school kitsch dosen’t translate here – so I always find it interresting seeing movies about glee clubs and cheerleading squads being taken so seriously. Just ranting now… Great collection Els.
those are amazing! my favs are the first three π

My grandma just gave me a bunch of her dresses and jackets, and the black coat with the giraffe print on top was one of them! I love it, and I can’t believe it’s on here!

You are a living dolly, really. You need your own show.
Love the Elizabeth one, esp. since it was your mom’s. π
Love your coat collection! My favorite one is your Mom’s high school jacket. π
Love the coats – kind of obsessing over your shoes – are they vintage too?
i have never understood a coat with a 3/4 sleeve because… warmth. but i love the creme colored coat.
Imagine my surprise when I see you have posted a picture of the suede poncho my dad brought home to my mom, from Guatemala, in 1980. I always loved it and it now resides in MY closet! So cool to see you have one as well!!!!
Have to just let you know, I own the same coat as the second one down. Love it!
