Honeymoon shopping was my guilty pleasure for the past eight months. Every time I saw a pretty dress, pair of shoes or bag I justified it as a ‘honeymoon’ outfit piece. We had the most magical time ever on our honeymoon (and I didn’t even pack half the outfits I planned… oops!). I thought I’d make a 10 Things post inspired by “Honeymoon Worthy” pieces. Maybe some of you are planning your special getaway right now? Enjoy….
1. This yellow swimsuit from Ruche. swoon!
2. This incredibly gorgeous and unique lingerie piece from ModCloth. (*Have you seen that you can Shop My Faves on ModCloth this month?)
3. Vintage floral luggage (like this piece from Etsy). I have a huge collection of patterned luggage from the 1960s and it was so fun to tote some of it along with us on our honeymoon!
4. Snow cones! We ate so many snow cones on our honeymoon. They’re my favorite warm weather treat! Raspberry, Mojito, Green Apple, Wedding Cake… I pretty much love every flavor!
5. In the Spring and Summer I love anything floral. LOVE this dress!
6. Everyone needs a big floppy hat this season. SO fun. (via TopShop)
7. sandals. these are super cute (via Anthropologie)
8. Treats! We ate so much guilty pleasure food on our honeymoon. It was heaven! (photo of Hey Cupcake! found here)
9. Orla Kiely perfume. soooo pretty! (thank you, Holly!)
10. Tacos. We ate lots of tacos on our honeymoon and now Jeremy’s been making them at home. They’re so good!
Welcome to a new week! XOXO, elsie

i used to have a little suitcase like that! i wish i would have kept it 🙂
That swimsuit is so pretty! It’s so nice finding retro-styled swimwear because I like to be modest at the beach 🙂

TORCHY’S TACO’S perhaps?! I hope Austin treated you well!
This post is adorable. Thanks for linking the luggage. I want one so bad!
that yellow swimsuit is adorable!! so perfect for summer beach parties!
Next time you’re in KCMO, you have to try fresher than fresh snowcones. They are DIVINE! She’s always out and about selling from the back of her caravan and has a permanent locale on sundays at this amazing park. My favorite flavor is espresso with mexican cane sugar. The watermelon basil is also divine!

Oh yay! So happy you love that Libby Story dress!! Thanks for the post!! 🙂
Wonderful! I adore that swimsuit. In general, I love vintage inspired swimsuits, and polka dots. They are just so much more flattering than modern swimsuits on all body types.
isn’t heycupcake! great? my favorite it the 24 carrot. yum!
I’ve been doing that with wedding stuff too, though I’m just in a bunch of weddings this season…but still, you need stuff for bridal showers, bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, etc!
Oh my, that swimsuit is beautiful. I’ve had my eye on a few at Modcloth but that, there, is a real beauty. I’m trying so hard not to click on the link simply because I know I’ll be tempted. Such a beautiful cut–and in one of my very favourite patterns: polka-dot.
finally the luggage! yes! lol i’m going to have curate a 1960s luggage collection of my own
i love everything in this post! Especially one, two and three! That bathing suit is absolutely amazing.
