Stacy Dupree wearing Red Velvet’s Spring Collection

1

I recently collaborated with Stacy Dupree, of the band Eisley, to capture a glimpse of her personal style and life at home after a long tour. Stacy has amazing style, so we sent her some dresses from our spring collection. Stacy styled all the looks and photographed them in her home with her husband. This editorial is a fun, personal peek into Stacy's daily life. You can view the images larger on our site as well as shop Stacy's wishlist. She's pretty magical… Enjoy!

Elsie: How do you relax after a long tour?

Stacy: When I get back from tour, the first week I'm home I love to just relax and sleep a lot, watch madmen and take long baths. I have to chill out from all of that moving around and just spend time with my husband. I'm a major homebody, so I never really get out. If I do it's to go to the store to buy dark chocolate and wine. Wow, I sound pathetically lazy! That usually only lasts for a week and then I'll start being responsible and do my laundry and re enter normal life.

Elsie: What is your favorite piece in the Red Velvet Spring Collection?

Stacy: I have a small love affair with the gold velvet dress. I've never worn this color before. I always thought because I was pale I couldn't wear gold. Boy was I missing out on some fun all these years! Thank you for breaking me out of that style trap. I keep getting loads of compliments on it everywhere I go!

Elsie: What are your favorite trends for spring and summer?

Stacy: My favorite styles for spring are definitely the super romantic lacy looks with socks and platforms. Also florals and bowties! Oh my! I can't get enough. I love wearing breezy button ups! It's the only time of year when I like to get over-the-top girly. I just go all out.

Elsie: What eras in fashion inspire your personal style?

Stacy: I would have to say 60s and 70s! For some reason I just feel comfortable wearing those styles. They really inspire me. Perhaps it's because I feel like so much good music is connected to those eras. I feel like I'm paying respect to such a wonderful time period for artists and musicians. My parents always called me their hippy child. I wore a lot of flower power as a little girl.
Be sure to check out Stacy's Red Velvet Wishlist as well as Eisley's new album, The Valley, which just came out! XO, Elsie
