First Friday Art Walk tops my fun-things list in Springfield. Jeremy and I's first date (sorta date) was to Art Walk three years ago. This was an extra special night, though, because my incredibly talented mother, Elizabeth Chapman had a solo show at Obelisk Home. Here a few photos from the show…

Oh gosh, you just made me miss Springfield more than ever. Art Walk was my favorite thing everrrr… I lived right off the square, and walking down there on First Friday was always my favorite thing to do!
i’ve loved your mother’s painting for a long time time… she once did a painting based off of a photograph of a flower my mother took. i will always treasure it.
