Today is super casual. I wore a navajo print scarf and t-shirt from Urban Outfitters, jeans (gasp!) from American Eagle and boots from Target with a gold handmade necklace by me. Mr. Larson and I have been chatting about goals a lot in the past few days. I already have my b-day list and Project ReStyle, but it's still fun to add to the sand castle of goals and dreams. It's so much fun! Do you have any defined goals yet or are you taking the week to let them simmer in your mind? Love, Elsie

SO pretty! I love that navajo print! Casual looks good on you!
you’re the prettiest girl in the whole world!
You look amazing! Love the scarf and love your hair colour
Love the scarf. Birthday coming up…Are you an Aquarius?
I already making my resolutions for this year but I have to write them nicely π
A couple hundred years ago I had a poncho that looked like your scarf. I wonder where that thing is today?? Probably eaten up by moths.
I have been thinking about my goals for the past few weeks-ha! I always end up with a bunch, and decided that it’s okay to have a bunch, as long as I don’t get so negative about the ones that get dropped/never get done. π
I blogged my list here: http://paulysrachie.typepad.com/complicated_simplicity/2010/12/december-dailydays-twenty-through-twenty-five.html
Ha! My fiance and I found that the other night at Urban and I almost bought it to wear on my wedding day as a wrap if it’s cold. Been looking for something navajoish with some turquoisey/blue in it to match my engagement ring!! I think I’m sold now π Going back to Urban to purchase.
Thanks for the inspiration!

I love the scarf so much. Also, I would be really like it if you would do some more hair posts. Your hair always looks so good and effortless. Love it!

awe. thanks so much.
i’m actually a scorpio, but my sister is an aquarius. π
thanks for all the kind words.
molly, i think this scarf would be so stylish as a bridal accessory in some pics. i love uncommon pieces like that, plus it’s surprisingly warm. i didn’t even wear a jacket today.
Goals. I have 5 for the year. One of which is to learn to beatbox. Another one is to play at least 6 shows.
I love that scarf! My birthday is next month so I am busy getting my goals, hopes and dreams down on paper! I love goals!

Wow your hair color is gorgeous! I bet you just dyed it because it looks perfect π
Love and Turtledoves,
Jacqueline
So pretty you look! Hey I just wanted you to know how much I am loving the Blog Love e-course. I’m not even done with the first lesson and it has totally transformed how I’m approaching my blog.
Seriously maybe the best money and time I’ve spent all year. Thank you SO much for creating it and making it so fun and accessible.
Els,
People gasp when I wear jeans, too! It’s hilarious! It’s really starting to get funny because I probably wore them to school a total of 4 times this whole semester. YAY dresses and skirts!
love, polly π
hope you love your button! Sorry some of the writing got kind of chopped!
Cute! Are those AE skinnies? They are my absolute FAVORITE jeans! I have two pairs and wear them ALL the time. They look great with boots and flats and I occasionally layer them under dresses.
so lovely!
Love this look!
No vintage dres??!! π
Jeans are cute, hair is adore, and <3 that poncho/shawl/wrap!

Rainy, thanks so much! Can I use this quote on an ad for my course? It’s so sweet and genuine. Thank you.
Margaret! Yes. I love AE jeans because they are short enough for me. I usually have to roll all my jeans (i’m 5’4).
Thanks for all the kind words. Smiles… Elsie
Wow, it mst be jeans day everywhere!
Lovely outfit… It’s cool to see you in jeans. It’s different from the vintage dress outfits you post, and I personally like it.
Elsie, absolutely! I’d be honored. π
The next time I get my hair colored I am taking a photo of you…I have been trying to get your color for a few months now, no luck! What do you use, color, brand, etc….???? I would love to know! Love you outfit by the way, too cute!!
xoxo~Meg
Oh my! I’m loving everything about these photos! So gorgeous!
thanks, meg! my hair is just a mis-match right now. it was professionally dyed bright red and then i dyed brownish red over that and that was weeks ago… i would ask for a brownish red that can look bright in natural light, but dark indoors. hope that helps. π
Thanks for all the sweet words!
I absolutely love that scarf! You look stunning as always π
Thanks Elsie, I will ask for something like that next time!! So far I haven’t taken the full plunge and I’ve only used Redken Shades…I think I will go for it next time, maybe that’s my problem! Thanks again! β₯
xoxo~Meg
I must have that scarf!
Wow. If you look like that on casual days…
Can’t wait for the baby to born so I can go to regular clothes shopping instead of maternity stuff.
I absolutely love Navajo prints! Beautiful π
I’ve been thinking a lot about goals too… I suppose it’s that time of year… or maybe that I’m always obsessively making goals!
love that scarf. looks cozy:)
so pretty π
my hands can’t type all the goals that cross my mind but YES YES I do have them :))

Funny! You came to my hometown to shop, & I have been bugging my fiance to take me to Springfield to see your shop! OOH! I want to see a picture of your new chair too! The hubs & I have a weird mid-century/furniture fetish… Glad you had a rad Christmas! π
I love the last picture! Can you give me any hints as to how you achieved this effect? It looks stunning!
Love It!! Those shades look amazing on you! Quite the sense of style…
Gorgeous! What a fun print!
oh, I LOVE it! really much.
I just stumbled upon your blog and I love it all! Can I ask you if you could quickly explain how on earth you did your hair like this? Did you put the bun up with a hairtie or bobby pins? It looks so beautiful!
Thanks!
Warmly, Kat
.I so enjoyed every bit of this site and Iβve bookmarked your blog to keep up with the new topics you will post in the future.
These are all very beautiful, I like very much

Beautiful scarf!
you may want to remove the name Navajo from this description. The Navajo Indians sued the Urban Outfitters and UO had to rename an clothing that had “Navajo” in the title. It is against the law to misrepresent a sovereign nation.
love loe love this look especially the top! and its so refreshing to know that you get your clothes from everyday shops like me! xoxo
