Yesterday, I got fancy new red hair from my lovely pal Sarah! It was fun and while I was there I filled two journal pages with blog ideas for next month. ♥
Right now we are working at the shop… it’s ONE WEEK till opening night! We still have a lot to do, but nothing tragic…. we’re having a fun time. I keep trying to mentally ‘step back’ and remember that this week is a memory I will never forget and that I want to savor. It’ll be over in a wink!

Question, when you go redhead do you ever feel out of place wearing greens? Green is the color that looks best on me, but whenever I henna my hair and go redhead, I feel kind of odd wearing green because people comment on the red/green combo. Kind of a situation to feel awkward wearing half my wardrobe. Maybe I’m just being to sensitive to people’s comments.
What’s your take on red hair and green clothes?

I love that color red, sadly it never stays with me, it turns odd colors that simply don’t look good on me. If I could find a way to keep it bright red and not turn some off the charts orange (not even Lucy orange, just a weird orange) I would ALWAYS wear my hair this color.
Carolina, in this day and age you can wear whatever color you want. I have friends who are natural bright red, red heads and they grew up thinking they could never wear red, green or pink but now they do and they look fabulous!

oh my gosh! the new color is SO rad, it really sets off your eyes… and the mauvey contrast, well beautious is what. coming from a background as a hairstylist, whoever did that for you rocks; it’s so shiny and red is like the hardest color to do.

I went red (a more ginger red) a few years ago and love it, I’m never going back to blonde. And, Carolina, having never owned green clothing when I was blonde, since going red it’s my favourite colour to wear and I get compliments on the combination!

The red looks great! I’ve had my hair red for a few years and then decided to briefly go blonde. I just dyed it brown (natural color) and can’t wait until the hair is good to go back red.
