sigh! what a mega-busy and fun weekend we've had. first we attended a wedding shower for our beautiful pals Darren and Stacy. it was held at local art gallery and my favorite part was the mini starbucks cups with mini cupcakes… so sweet.
next, we had dinner at one of our favorite local spots and watched Stacy's band, Eisley play…. they're magical! my sister and I saw them play once when we were younger, so i was wishing she could have been there. they were great!
here's the rest of their schedule… if you have a chance to catch a show, do it!
i also love-love-love miss Christie Dupree. her music is beautiful and she's cute as a button!
In other news…. we tried coconut and pretzel m&ms (coconut wins!).Happy weekend!…. XO. elsie

I didn’t know you were friends with the Duprees! I am a big fan of theirs, bought their music before it was easy to find, lol.

Oh, I love Eisley! I first started listening to them after I saw the girls in a Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin video. I’m jealous you got to see them!

HOLY CRAP, you just got so much cooler now that i know you know the duprees. eisley is one of my all time favorite bands since way back when. it’s too bad i live in the southwest instead of the midwest 🙁 it’s one of my life goals to see them perform :>
I first heard Eisley about 2 years ago or so and I love them. I wish they were coming to Texas. Le sigh.

how cool! eisley is so talented. they actually live about 30 min from here! They’re wonderful family all sings/plays in the church band and they’re so down to earth! ive had the pleasure of seeing them many times. So glad that you love them!
Oh yes, the Almond Joy pieces certainly beat out the coconut M&Ms in my humble-coconut-and-chocolate-loving opinion!!

i heard the pretzel ones are pretty nasty – but i’ve tried the coconut, and they are surprisingly good! like mini mounds.
I LOVE Eisley! And I also have a stash of Coconut M&M’s in my pantry from when they first came out last year – glad to know they are back in rotation!

I’ve met Darren a few times and he’s such a great guy. Really hilarious and personable.
It’s funny because I remember one of the times I saw MuteMath in concert, Eisley was the opening band…I’m guessing love was in the air even way back then. 😉
