Gocco Screen Printing is so much fun!

I thought I'd share a few studio peeks today since I spent a lot of time over there cooking up new ideas. I dusted off my lovely gocco printer (we bought here when we'd first started dating…. awe!). I had a few new projects in mind, mostly printing on fabric today. Here are some peeks…

i bet you are curious what i'm making with these fabric prints. maybe? i'm actually already preparing for Renegade San Francisco (i'm sure i'll add some to the site also). I don't want to spoil the surprise so i'll wait until the whole display is finished!

YAY Gocco! I love you forever! **please note: each time i do a post about Gocco i get tons of questions. i have owned mine for several years and used it for all sorts of fun printing projects. i completely recommend it as a fun and useful tool. These are Japanese self-contained mini screen print machines. There are a lot of supplies that you need to use one like ink, screens (different ink/screens for paper and fabric) bulbs and cleaners. I do not have information about where you can buy them (i've heard prices have sky-rocketed recently due to rarity… sad face). When I purchased mine I used google to find the best deal. good luck to anyone out there thinking about adopting a cute little Gocco. I wish I were an expert, but I'm really more of a 'fan'. :)

i'm finally feeling a tiny bit settled in my summer studio space (which i now know i'll be staying in until at least Christmas… eek!). it's a good feeling. i really want to 'want' to be there every day…. at the same time, i'm still enjoying painting in my bedroom at home. maybe pretty soon i'll feel like i have two studios instead of zero… i'm such a mind game.

back to painting. i'm having SO much fun tonight.
