as promised, here are a few tiny peeks at my new art journals. i’m so excited because i’m making three new books, all with different themes. here’s a little glimpse at book number one….
i’ll share more details about this upcoming class in the next month or so. keep checking back! it’s going to be a fun and busy spring & summer season!
here’s something old that i’m excited to use in a new way… film! i have a few new toy cameras that i need to try out. when i was purchasing this film i realized that i hadn’t used film in over a year (something i used to use almost every day)! eek! that’s weird, huh?
here’s a new photo mr. larson snapped of me yesterday. :)) Have a lovely day! elsie

The art journals will be so fun!
I love your shirt! Where did you find it?
You’re so pretty!!! π …like seriously. You just keep getting prettier!
The film thing has been a huge challenge for me. I took piles of pictures when I was young (my dad got us started early with little cameras of our own). But to get back into it, even just one roll a month, has been harder than I imagined. Admittedly, getting to use my dad’s old Canon t50 provides some incentive. I wish you the best of luck!!
can’t wait to see more. and now that you’ve pointed it out, i miss using real film. hmmm. must do something to remedy that. π
what a beautiful photo xx
Love the photo of you, tres chic!
Those art journals look great, and such a pretty photo of yourself! Have a great day!

Those journals are awesome! Love love love them!!
Dear Elsie, first of all, let me say I (like many others) love your blog. I don’t comment much because, to be honest, you do get lots and lots of love arounx here! Hehehe. I do however want to ask you something I thought whe I saw the beautiful pic mr. Larson took of you: how do you keep your hair under control? I ask becausewe appear to have similar hair type and I have never managed to make it look like yours and take advantage of my curls. Mind to give me a little hair beauty tips?? Please be a dear and say yes!
Regards from far far away (aka Chile)!
Kalhie, i’ll do my best to do some sort of hair tutorial sometime….. this style is just air dry (natural waves) with some iron curling on the top layers. sorta my lazy hairdo b.c i hateee blowdrying! XO. :)) els
