i love spring too, i can’t wait!
i also love waking up in the morning with my two year old pushing my eyelid up and saying, “mommy, it’s morning!” i can’t help but laugh…
totally understand-i told my husband i felt like moving last week which is completely ridiculous. instead we are going to work on some projects in the house. always fun to rearrange!
yes! that is the best house in london : )
ahhh the liberty building! wish i could say “oh, i live there” 🙂
xo.
I feel the exact same way today! Realized I never got my baby girl’s room to where I love it, so I’m going to re-do it now! (She only 4 months! That’s OK, right?)
absolutely *!beautiful!* photos elsie, thanks for the inspiration <3
I wish I lived in a building like that! How fun fun fun!
I don’t think it’s a spring cleaning thing for me…I get bored and want change often 😉 That’s why I cut my hair so much and change the color and style. but then I look back on the days when my hair was long and luscious and I let a tear or two go…
~these images are stunning~
I love love love that photo of audrey, i wish i could make my hair plait like that.
Change is refreshing even when it’s something small, it’s like a recharge 🙂 Happy Valentines, I love your blog 🙂
Completely!!! I got my hair highlighted today, cleaned and cleaned and gave away clothes, bought new face cream bc the cold weather is ruining my skin! I’m ready for spring 🙂
You and me both! I keep telling my husband I want to drag all of our things out into the yard and set them on fire. Just so I can start over. I’ll have to settle for some rearranging.
totally get it. I get this way monthly. To everyone else, it’s chaotic…to me, it’s therapeutic, though it sometimes results in my leaving the hair salon with way too many inches gone, and me thinking, “what the heck did I just dooo!!?”
I’ve gotten a little better at though. I am soooooo looking forward to the spring!!!
ah yes, I often just change my hair or something to make some big impact — it’s refreshing!
Yes I totally agree and understand! I just recently ordered more funky clothes and got a super bright purse and shoes. Love it! No more boring clothes:-) Good luck with all of your re-arranging!
thats so funny you posted about that. I just made a very similar post. Every spring it seems I want to change everything up. I just moved my whole room around. I am dying to re-do my wardrobe.
Me too! Me too! I keep staring at my hair, thinking maybe if I stare long enough it’ll do something different… it doesn’t, haha. I also recently bought a bunch of multi-colored nail polish, and I wish I could win a shopping spree to H&M for new fresh wardrobe.
agreed! spring cannot come soon enough and i just got new hair! altough it’s nowhere near as good as that ladies gorgeous red hair…
I am in the moving around/ switching things up mode too. Too bad I need hub’s help to do so and he is in no mood after all the snow shoveling he’s had to do this week.
i’m so glad i discovered your blog! i absolutely feel that way at least several times per season. and thanks so much for posting that photo of the lovely ms. tautou; she’s my favorite!
your blog is so inspirational! the photos are always beautiful and it makes me want to start creating every time i visit.
happy valentine’s day!
Sounds like someone has an early case of spring fever!
Hi Elsie!
I was wondering was is the brand of the paint you use.
Thanks for the answer. Hope you had a wonderful valentine’s day!
i’ve had the same feeling lately to get everything in a place and keep in there in my room and craft room. lately though i’ve had the need to go through my clothes and actually want to get rid of them instead of holding onto them for memories sake. maybe it has to do with this year/time of year!
xoxo, sg
You have spring there? I envy you so much. I had to leave my car today, as it is all covered with snow, and there is no way to move it without a shovel.
Pictures are lovely, by the way. And I really enjoy reading your blog.
hey there little indian girl ^-^:
wow, look at those apartments? it almost looks as if they’ve been wallpapered. love all the prettiness from kirsten’s image and the one below it. lovely lace. ooh and that pink on the floor is gorgeous. audrey is so adorable, loved her in coco, which i believe is now out on dvd. but i know what you mean Elsie about getting sprung with Spring cleaning, especially now that Valentine’s is over. thanks for sharing.
