hiiii. i am squeezing in a little fun post for your Wednesday evening! last weekend i did a Style Crush post about cute collections and i promised to show you some of the cute things that i collect. i went through my recent Etsy.com purchases (past month or two) and found some fun items to share. Etsy is a great place to shop for vintage (eBay is too!) because they have a really great search engine. well, here are some of the random and quirky things that i collect….
enamel floral brooches.
vintage uniforms. i have a bunch of girl scout uniforms and i am super excited about this coffee shop/waitress dress.
paint by number paintings. this collection is getting pretty amazing. we have about 20 for a wall in Jeremy's house. i'll be sure to share photos when it's complete!
and 1970s big eye art. i have a pretty large collection of these as well. i found my first one sometime last year and became obsessed!

my great grandma did paint by numbers like crazy. i mean really, instead of a million cats she had paint by numbers. i need to make my dad dig those out!
In a recent trip to my local flea market I bought a jar of vintage buttons, there were a couple of old Boy Scout uniform buttons in the mix and also a Girl Scout members pin. Now I am just trying to find something to do with them!! Love your collection!

Paint by numbers are the BEST! I wish I had all the ones I did as a kid! I have a plan to do my little hallway in silly crafty kit lion stuff – cross stitch, paint by number, latch hook, etc. – all in pretty frames of course!

My sister and I had two big eye paintings in or bedroom growing up in the ’70’s. What I wouldn’t give for them now. Yours with the little girl is very similar to the ones we had.

This is kind of random, but I’m a high school student looking for a unique, short, possibly vintage prom dress and I was wondering if you had any suggestions! I know you love looking at pretty things online, so if you’re ever bored you could relive your high school days!
The little ballerina girl has a brother and they are a set. My mother had them in her room when she was a little girl and they are living in my closet.
