  • I love the owls!

I collect pie birds! Started many years ago and I have an awesome growing collection thanks to my brother who buys me one every Christmas!

  • Love the post!

    Things I collect…

    Aprons

    tea posts

Hostess ‘supplies’ … serving platters, cake plates, table scapes, ect..

    Shoes!

    dresses/ vintage clothes

and the list seems to go on and on…lol

  • this is rather amazing! i love the owls =] collections are so wonderful. i used to collect snow globes…i wonder if theyre still around here somewhere…

  • Fun blog topic! I may need to blog about my own collections now. Things I collect: cheesy snowglobes, owls, Pyrex, and craft supplies to name a few. Can’t wait to see your collections.

  • Such cute collections! I collect vintage linens and vintage purses. My husband collects vinyl, so we’re always rummaging around some old antique mall together. What fun!!

  • I love the owls, the paper dolls (!), and the wall of art. I myself collect stationery and cards. I used to collect mugs till I ran out of room…and pens before it made my wallet burn. My hubs and I also began a tradition of “collecting” one ornament each every Christmas season. πŸ™‚

  • Oooh, the owls! Pretties!

I collect anything having to do with Twin Peaks, Tarot cards, bookmarks (they date back to the 80’s> “21 Jump St” era Johnny Depp included!), cute witch dolls…

And I’ve saved every watch face from every watch I’ve ever had since I was a teen in the 80’s. My favorite is from the 90’s tho; it’s a characature of Albert Einstein. Over his head are the words “Time is Relative” (or relative time; I forget =P). The hours say “1-ish”, “2-ish”, and so on. Second favorite is my Disney Pete’s Dragon watch!

  • Oooh. I would love to collect all of those beautiful things! lol. I am currently collecting old frames for my walls, but I need to find something new to collect very soon. πŸ™‚ Yummy!

  • ooo. love collecting random things. i just blogged about my growing collection of figures of hands (not creepy, i promise!)

  • I collect Russian/Soviet artwork and knick-knacks for the most part. I’m a political science major and I think the USSR is soo interesting. I also will buy anything Golden Retriever related. πŸ™‚

  • Well…matryoshka dolls (nesting dolls) are a recent collecting item, in any form. I have cross stitched, ornaments, a vintage book and of course real ones too. Love!

I have one old (vintage) carpet bag that they used to carry yarn and such in and want to buy tons more. Can you have a collection with only one thing in it? I’d like to think so!

  • Such a fun post, I really like that photo of the owls. I love to collect vintage linens, cookbooks and ornaments.

  • Its really easier to post what I dont collect. Here I go, THINGS THAT I REALLY DO COLLECT.

POWERPUFF GIRLS, VINTAGE EEYORES, STAR TREK, SIMPSONS, SCOOBY DOO, SNOWBABIES, HALLMARK ORNAMENTS, DVD’S, CD’S, BETSEY JOHNSON PURSES, BUTTONS, RIBBON, OWLS. Like I said the list is long. Keep on collecting as long as you live. Oh and MODEL CARS, COMIC BOOKS ECT……

  • You always find the cutest stuff. I really love how people collect a certain colored item. I collect —-Marilyn Monroe dolls have 6( only I stopped adding to it)I have been collecting vintage cameras since 1994( i will never stop). trolls( which really has stopped but I have my collection since MS and HS). my kitchen is done in coca cola -new and vintage stuff. I LOVE owls!! I guess I collect way too many things–I am around things i love and people!!

btw–your new little collection of cute animals is to die for–I <3 them.

  • Delurking to join in the fun! A few things I collect: blue and pink 1950’s poodles, vintage aprons and slips, egg cups, 19th century medical books, and any kind of vintage costume jewelry. BTW, I read your blog every day…its the cutest! πŸ™‚

  • Mason Jars, letters, film cameras, and currently thread on wooden spools (for a project I’m doing- a Mason Jar Lamp!)

  • I collect these little bears from Claire’s! Well, I used to, when I shopped there. But they’re still cute! πŸ˜€

I also collect journals, which is really a bad thing because I have so many and never get around to writing in them all!
I’d love to start collecting something vintage, like cameras or something, though.

  • Hi,

Just found your blog and I love it! I love the owls, I am addicted to paper (since I do scrapbooking) but I do collect snowbabies. I bring them all out during the holiday season.

  • I actually collect Cherished teddy bears, I know nothing unique about it, but it used to be my mom’s collection. I would always help her choose them when I was younger and I loved looking at them, so when I moved out she gave them to me!! I love them!

  • i’m an owl addict myself! i love everything you’ve posted, seriously. and i’m a collector of everything. i find a lot of things beautiful and fascinating, vintage or modern – it doesn’t matter. i just love THINGS. it’s so dueling sometimes.

  • i collect the tops from snapple and grannys tea. the grannyisms are wonderful, my favorite is “puppy love is real to puppies”

  • I collect rubber duckies, tortoise ornaments and books. My book collection is significantly bigger than the others. It’s one of my ambitions in life to actually read all of them xD

  • Owls, Faeries, cute journals and sketchbooks (I have so many that are empty!)… and coffee mugs! I also have a mini-collection of small pewter figurines. Do you remember those? I heart anything magical!

  • I collect small bears from any new city I go to and they sit above my bed πŸ™‚

  • it just occured to me (like two days ago) that i have a huge collection of tin cans, but it wasn’t even on purpose

  • Nice photos, love your blog, have been following you for a while now. The owl collection is my favourite πŸ™‚ xxx

  • I collect white ceramic dishes and teapots shaped like animals. Oh, and apparently I collect fish… this christmas my mum gave me a glass fish, and she was like: “It’s for your collection! Of fish!” and I said: “I didn’t know I was collecting fish!” and then I looked around the apartment and saw like eight fish things, haha.

    Accidental collecting is great!

  • Milkglass. I started collecting and used them for my wedding centerpieces. Now I’m always adding when I find rare and interesting pieces.

  • when i was like 4, i started collecting little toy cars. i don’t anymore, but i really should. πŸ™‚

  • When I was a kid, if I got two of ANYTHING I started a collection. I collected the following: dolls, cats, angels, bunnies, bears, dogs, doll house stuff etc. When I got older I kept my favorites of each collection and got rid of the rest (wish I hadn’t though). Now I collect rings and necklaces!!! I still kinda collect angels and anything swirly too. πŸ™‚

  • Books. Love books. Although, I’ve pared down considerably, as of late. Still, if it’s anything, it’s books! πŸ™‚

  • I would be here way too long listing the stuff I collect.
As they say, if you have more than two of anything it’s a collection.
Thanks for posting my “yellow stuff’ photo. I’ve just posted about yellow today (or Pantone’s “Mimosa”)and have added your gorgeous forest pal collection from flickr(linked nicely!)

    Have a great Sunday,

  • My grandma gave me a whole bag of her old clothespins. A lot have broken though because they’re plastic and so old. And I absolutely adore that yellow collection.

  • I have ridiculous collections going too: owls, tin robots, vintage books, gnomes, etc.

My daughter collects stuffed puppies. She’s three. Gotta get them started early huh!
