Happy Mail & Messy Box Unboxing: August

Messy Box by A Beautiful MessHey, friends! I know I say this every month, but I cannot believe it’s already August. I mean- autumn is just around the corner and that makes me feel…weird!

Messy Box by A Beautiful Mess Messy Box by A Beautiful Mess Messy Box by A Beautiful Mess This month’s Messy Box is my favorite yet. The cards and papers are made from natural marbled and dyed patterns, the white card stock letters are just waiting to be altered, and the lip stickers are so darn cute. Did I mention there is a roller stamp included in this month’s kit? Yep. It’s an awesome month.

If you haven’t tried Messy Box, it’s a monthly scrapbook subscription that coordinates perfectly with our Messy Books. You can subscribe for just one month to try it out, or make a bigger commitment to get a lower price!

Happy Mail by A Beautiful MessHappy Mail by A Beautiful MessHappy Mail by A Beautiful MessThis month’s Happy Mail is a lot of fun! It features pieces with silver metallic foil (the moon phases card is my favorite), an art print and a note pad.

If you haven’t tried Happy Mail, it’s a stationery subscription. Each month you get $50 retail value in products for as low as $15 a month (the price also depends on your commitment level). It’s full of surprises and keeps you inspired to send snail mail to the people you love!

Every month I make a video unboxing! This video also includes a peek through the 2015-2016 Academic Agenda at the end! Watch the video here:

Happy Monday! I’m moving this weekβ€”wish me luck? xx. Elsie

  • Yay! I’m moving too, good luck! I have to say, I’ve drawn a lot of inspiration for my new home from your At Home With… posts. Thanks for providing lot’s of pretty decorating ideas to get excited about πŸ™‚

  • pretty box πŸ™‚ I like doing scrapbook, but sometimes I got no time for it. And hope that everything goes smoothly with the moving stuffs!

  • That looks so pretty!!! Unfortunately, I am way to broke for this pretty stuff these days, but as soon as I have some euros to spare, I’ll order it. Do you also ship abroad?

Love from Germany and a wonderful day to you,

    Lisa

  • You two are definitely fueling my craft addiction! Just bought your planner, and these look gorgeous too!

  • Cute! Last month I got two birthday cards and no taco card in my happy mail. Any way I can return the birthday card? I don’t use them so I don’t need/want two. Thanks!

  • After reading your blog, you inspired me to start scrapbooking and I absolutely love it! I am almost finished with my first big scrapbook project and I have been using a lot of your tips that you share on the blog. Thank you for showing me that scrapbooking is a lot more than just putting a few pictures on a page.

    πŸ™‚ Megan

  • Cute as always! I would love to see more male-specific cards. We have a lot of guy friends and I loved the beard card from an earlier kit. Having those on hand are great.

  • holy smokes! that marble is amazing. I can only speak for myself, but I wouldn’t be sad about some marbled prints/cards/papers/anything/everything coming in the happy mail. πŸ˜‰

good luck on your move this week. Tennessee is about to get way more cool when you all get here. andddddddd cute haircut! πŸ™‚

  • EEE so excited for this month’s Happy Mail. I looove the list, it’s so cheerful. (And with the amount of lists I write a day ‘Another List’ is a perfect header.)

Also, my friends got married this weekend at a zoo, so the ‘you’re married, that’s swanderful’ was perfect. They loved it (they’re also big fans of puns, so it was a double win).

  • Bought an agenda (can’t wait to receive it) and can’t wait to get this month’s happy mail!

  • I agree! I have many guy friends and not as many girl friends. Maybe some nerdy/video gamer/comic book type things? That’s what my friends and I are into at least and I know I would appreciate those!

  • Hi Elsie!

My favorites this month are the moon phase card, the banana card (which reminds me of Andy Warhol!) and the birthday card featuring Emma’s photograph. I’m also loving the messy box kit this month..the lip stickers are so cute! Good luck with your move this week! I can’t wait to see more of your house πŸ™‚

  • Do you guys know when you might have the page protectors back in stock? Been dying to pick up some more so I can scrapbook til I pass outttt!

  • I second this! I gave the “happy birthday bro” card to my brother and he loved it! He actually said, “I’m gonna hang this up!” and he is so totally not the kind of guy to hang cards up haha. More “guy” cards would be great!

  • What’s going to be the difference between this Agenda and the one for 2016?

  • Hey Tanisha,
The 2016 planners have different covers, cover different months and have spiral inside so they lay flat. But if you need a planner immediately for Autumn this is your best choice! πŸ™‚

Can’t wait for you to see the 2016 planners as well!

  • I’m so excited about this month’s Happy Mail!! The print is exactly the motivation I need right now, can’t wait to hang it right next to the “Don’t Quit Your Daydream” print!

I would love if some of the upcoming happy mails had more emoji or hashtag stuff on them! Or more cards that are all occasion or friendship based.

  • Just signed up for the 12 month messy box. This messy box is my first one. Can’t wait to receive it and get creative! I’ve got so many ideas already…

  • I get happy mail I love it, my one suggestion would be to get more Holiday cards for instance I would have loved a mothers day or a fathers day card. Some masculine cards as well. My husband thinks all the cards I have given him are adorable but I don’t think my grumpy dad would agree-lol.

  • Ps love the prints I work in a windowless office and they add a lot to my boring cubical. Plus I hope it motivates my co-works for positive vibes only.

  • I know that you guys aren’t in the baby phase yet but I would love to see a congratulations card for either pregnancy or the arrival of a baby. I seriously could send out three of those a month! And even if that’s not everyone’s stage I feel like we all know someone having a baby! Love the happy mail!!
