so i had a mini hair coloring disaster last night and in the end decided to go ahead and dye my hair bright pink…
it was one of my goals. i didn’t intend to do it before Spring, but i’m glad i did anyway because it’s fun. here’s a funnyyyyy photo from the middle stage (aka disaster hair). it was supoosed to be light brown and it was definitely orange/blonde instead… eek! i’ll never try that again.
haha. but at least the story had a happy ending…. i love having pink hair and i am excited to experiment with lots of different shades until i get bored with it. next, i want bubble gum pink! i’ll eventually have my natural (dark brown) color back again, but i’m gonna enjoy this while it lasts with lots of cute little photo shoots and dresses ect…. yay! you only live once, right? and i’ve crosses another goal off my 27 list. 🙂
ok… i am mostly just blogging right not to avoid going out in the freeeeeezing cold to get photos printed. i am FINALLY making my ’10 things i love about you’ scrapbook tonight!!!! I can’t wait. I’ll post photos from every page tomorrow.

I’m curious about dyeing my hair purple or pink but not sure what brand to use – I’m thinking I may check out Sally’s Beauty Supply. Can you share what you used? I love it! Very cute =) “holy cute”!

love the pink hair! i went purple myself a couple of months ago, and it was so liberating! sadly i had a hairdye disaster myself trying to refresh the colour, and now i’m a dramatic brunette for the first time in my life 🙂

Love it! Yeeaahhh. I have that nasty orange/blonde color on my hair at the moment from a hair dying disaster…. going from black to blonde is not an easy process :), the pink is super cute though.

I’m waiting for my 10 things I love about you kit (my first purchase) and I’m either going to do it for my husband for Christmas (if it comes in time) or for Valentines Day. Unless I change my mind and make it for my cute kid. Or buy a second kit and do one for both. Sheesh that’s what I should have done! Anyway…rambles….cute hair.
I love the pink hair too. I’ve done it off and on for the past couple years and found the Punky Hair dye works pretty well and is easy to use.

Pom-pom slippers remind me of a place I lived for a very happy part of my life a few years ago.
i love it!!!! i always wanted pink hair but worked my way through art school at a bank…banks frown at pink hair. now I shoot sporting events and it would be frowned apon too. Dont people know I’m an artist?!?!? pink hair should be allowed!!!
omg, I totally did that once. I went to dye my hair a darker brown and accidentally grabbed the ones for girlies with black hair. It turned my hair bright orange like a pumpkin. I could have died. The only thing I could do was dye my hair black to cover it up. Like you, I will never forget that one. And whenever I get an urge to dye my hair myself again, my husband just looks at me and rolls his eyes. I never learn I guess.

Love it! I did this while in high school but mine was green at one time and purple the next time. My natural color then was dark black so I know how hard it was to get to this shade. Go with it and enjoy. I had fun with mine. 🙂

I LOVE the pink hair (even though I’d call it bright red) – I had the same color. The only problem is that it washes out so quickly and you have to put in the red colour every other week to keep it that way. Otherwise it’s really very cool!

FYI for future dyeing, if you add Magic Silver White to your bleach when mixing it up, it takes the orange out so you get a flatter colour (that’s how you get platinum blonde). It scares u at first coz it looks purple when you mix it, but it fades.
Sorry that’s what it’s called in Australia – hope it’s similar in the States
