Happy Saturday, everyone! Just thought I'd share a few random photos from our super quick trip to NYC this past week. Elsie, Trey and I traveled to NYC for a fast 48 hour business trip. If you had told me when I was in high school that I would get to travel to cool cities for my job one day, I probably wouldn't have believed you. We usually get to travel a few times a year to have meetings or help with media events with some of the cool companies we get to work with.
This time we got to meet with our friends at Canon at their headquarters for an annual meeting we all do together. Since we've been working with them for a few years now, this was actually our third time visiting them. It's seriously a dream partnership because Elsie and I have been using Canon products for many years (since college!). The content fits well with our goals for our site (sharing great crafting projects), and they are SO easy and fun to work with. We love them!
Above I am being a typical little sister while helping at a media event we hosted at the Nomad Hotel (which has REALLY great food, btw).
What else did we do? Well, we got to stay at the ACE hotel, which is really cool and has a great coffee shop, bar and restaurant attached. But we forgot to take advantage of the Photo Booth in the lobby! Ah! What where we thinking?!
We also ended up wandering into a really casual but great sushi spot nearby (Kirakuya Sake Bar) that I would totally recommend. But, that's about it. Like I said, pretty short trip. π Thanks for letting me share! Now I've just got to catch up on laundry and emails this weekend. xo. Emma (and Elsie)

I know you probably get lots of advice for to laces to eat, but we wandered into the most incredible restaurant in NYC, The Hummus Place, and now it has a few locations! We went twice on our 3 day NYC trip, and everyone we tell goes for seconds, too!
That photo of you with the poster is so goofy and cute! ha!

Love the ACE hotel. We live in the northern west coast so we stayed at the ACE in Seattle. It was actually the cheapest at the time and just so neat. Can’t wait to check it out in other cities especially NYC.
It looks like a good trip!

Emma’s lil lip purse is so adorable ?
Hopefully one day I’ll be visiting NYC for work-related stuff! For now I’m completely satisfied by studying at a college a bus ride away from NYC so that I can go and visit without needing an excuse π -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

Sounds like y’all had a really enjoyable trip, even though it was short. Was that awesome star light fixture in the Nomad or ACE Hotel? Just curious. Thanks!
Lovin’ the perks of your job! A trip to NYC is awesome. It is a very interesting place that will never run out of things to explore. Work will never be daunting if that means being able to travel to places of interest.
Just moved to NYC and I’m LOVING it! Milk bar cereal milk ice cream, Lady M cake, and more! Yum π

Wow I would love to visit NYC one day not sure if it will happen
ACE hotel is awesome! I love NYC. π
How fun! We just moved to NYC a month ago, and are super excited to be here. It’s been a crazy adjustment though! We’re expecting our third baby and on a tiny student budget, so we don’t get to try out all the fun places that I always thought of when I read about New York, but it’s great to get to know slowly too π
Love it! What ABM actions were used to edit these photos?
