What a great idea to spray paint that ornament and the sign.
Next time I see something quirky at a market or thrift store, I will try and imagine it bright pink or aqua first!

So cozy and colorful. I can’t really pick a favorite part, but if I HAD to, it would be those adorable little indian kids. And….i love pumpkin spice latte – but i cheap out and get it from the 7-11. Not ashamed. ;-D
That owl statuette is the cutest thing, I love the color you chose! And the girl scout uniform is adorable – looks like you earned a few patches in your time!
I just found your blog nd wanted to say Hi! You have great taste. I love the bless our home sign, it kinda reminds me of Rob Ryans papercuts.
elsie, i love the leaf garland in the kitchen pics! is it in your shop?? π
Hi! I hope this isn’t too stalkerish. I’ve ben reading your blog for quite a while now. But I’m kind of a lurker. π
The other night I was painting (while watching Mad Men of course!) and did a small watercolor. She is very inspired by you – the color of her hair, that it’s teased up (I don’t think you go quite this high tho!) her headband, etc, altho I think I gave her Joan’s mouth. π

I adore the owles! In fact, I adore ALL owles! Is it because I loved Twin Peaks so much. “The owles are not what they seem…”
