  • How absolutely adorable!!! Love your picnic basket! So pretty! I am on a creative high this week from the creative challenge that Janel and I are doing that we’re calling “Running With Inspiration”. (a take on our two blogs) We each came up with 3 words or phrases and are creating a project based on the word or phrase of the day for six days. It’s been amazing!!!! It’s on our blogs if you want to check it out, my dearie!!! Hope you have a beautiful evening!!!! Miss uuuu! xoxo

  • wohoo… i am in the very front!

cute sunny day, cute heart shape sun glasses, cute boy friend, cute yuki….

  • Did you go to Phelp’s Grove park? Because we were there from 2:30 -3:30 ish and when I got home I saw that you had tweeted a trip to the park.

Oh, and SEbastian wanted to come to your house to get another cookie.

    Hm….. 🙂

  • happy- beautiful daughter, wonderful husband, don’t have to have a job anymore, great health.

inspiring- elsie embroidery patterns from “pretty” class… yeah, i’m SLOW!

  • I love the daisy afghan – in the late 60’s and early 70’s I made several of them as gifts. I had a little loom for making the daisies and then crocheted them together. Your pictures brought back some great memories.

  • I was cleaning up my scrapping area that I haven’t touched (sadly) in years. what can I say, I was trying to finish up college!

That was enough to get me inspired, I’ve already created a mini book and am halfway through another. Pretty papers and fabrics always get my creative juices flowing!

  • looks like a good time.

free time has been inspiring. i’ve been without it for so long!

cute braids, and the diasy afghan is great!

  • Whats made my last 24 hours is a concert that was put on by four well-known Aussie singers from an indie-rock background singing the entire Beatles White Album….

the funny part is that one of them looks like jeremy….josh pyke is his name…..

  • I ‘m happy just looking at that picture of Jeremy and suki..gave me such a lift..I know you guys had fun

  • That definitely sounds like a good date and sushi is ALWAYS a good thing 🙂 I’m finding inspiration through searching for “Summer fairytale” on Flickr

  • Mine & Todds last date was a grocery store sushi, and home made pinacolada picnic. That totally made me happy 🙂

Love your choice of picnic blankets btw 😉

  • making me happy:
dark chocolate with a hint of mint + a glass of red wine
    + mad med season 2 marathon 🙂

and… pictures of your ADORABLE puppy!!! (really making me soooo wish i wasn’t allergic to dogs!)

  • I’m inspired by smokey lakeside air, stars, paper bags, clipboards, and meeting beautiful people that are the family of the young man I..uh…what’s the right word? Admire? 😉 It’s been a wonderful day and I want to create!

  • MMMmmMmMmM! Indian food DOES sound delish!

We had cloudy/thunderstorm weather here in nor-cal today so the upcomming fall season (and the small weather preview today!)spured a ton of fall project ideas!

  • Im inspired by life itself =)

This week I been painting mine and my boyfriends “snusdosor”. It´s a thing we have in sweden. Tobaco in a little bag that you put under your lip and the box that they lay in I´ve been painting on. Just small little hearts and dots and so..

    Love your blog!

This is my last day at work before i go on a three week leave, so I am in a Happy state of mind =)

  • Funny you should ask. Check out my blog, the first (there are two) of today’s entries– I referred to you!

    Cute shoes!

  • Man … I could go for some sushi. Love the daisies! Wish my picnics were like your’s. Mine usually involve 3 kids, limp cheese strings, etc. and lots of sand!

  • Love your sunglasses ! You make me want to eat sushis, my favourite sushi restaurant is closed all this month, so sad !

  • What is making me feel happy and inspired?

    The prospect of SLEEP.

My lovely partner, Scott and I have been fixing up our apartment bedroom and art studio every night for over a week and working during the days, we are exhausted. But he is on a fishing trip and I get the place to myself to decorate and put things where I want them.

I plan to suprise him with dinner on sunday…and I hope to get a new painting done in the meantime.

    Lots of love!

    Rachael (Speirsart)

  • I love that daisy afghan!! Now I must search for a pattern to make one like it!

Naps are inspiring me today. LOL!!

I need to plan a family picnic soon! Haven’t done that in a loooong time!

  • I am inspired by episodes of Cash in the Attic on BBC. The Duke and Dutchess of Windsor. The new catalog from Anthropologie. Bat for Lashes and Neko Case.

  • i love that little picnic basket!
    and suki is just adorable.
    🙂

    inspirations:

i recently painted my bedroom, and my new, tiffany’s box colored walls are making me feel quite inspired.
my boyfriend inspires me every single day.
    bridal magazines.
    my little sister.
    every single cute thing ever!

  • First I am happy cause my scotties are smiling big at me. Then I get to scrapbook tonight with friends. My inspiration comes from a layout in creative keepsakes by emily falconbridge and the orange and green room that I am sitting in right now.

  • this gorgeous vintage top i bought from a vintage shop called ‘second hand rose’. it’s baby blue, longish with wodden buttons all down the front and lace along the top. makes me feel magical.

the sun shining down to the high way inspires me to.

    xx

  • Oh my goodness Elsie, the daisy afghan- wasn’t that made decades ago with some loomie-pop the flowers off thingamajigger? I’d kill to find that contraption again!
