and friday:
some rad handmade inspiration journals! i spent 2 whole nights illustrating this one. 😀 sooo excited.
i’ve been carrying around the text copy & filling it out just for fun, will share!
how fun is that?
also on friday… lots of cute accessories like hand painted sunglasses, new bows and necklaces. 🙂
oh yeah.. and more of these. they sold out wicked fast last update!
erin is back safely (she was out of town for 2 days because her little sister had a baby boy!) and caught up with shipping. YAY! we are working like crazy pills for the next 48 hours to bring you tons of updates, new listings and pretty photos. yeahhhhhhh! 😀in other news, Jeremy and I have been watching Mad Men for the past few days (while I draw ACEOS, of course. ha!). It’s so good.
ps. i know i promised pics of my commissions today. i’m so sorry. i am a crazy perfectionist and i want them all in one post… almost ready. thanks for being patient. apparently it takes me 10 times at long to paint something that someone asks for rather than a spur of the moment idea. i didn’t know this about myself before, but i am learning…. it’s been fun.

it always takes longer to do something someone requests…for me at least. I always feel terrible about it, but w/e it gets done.

ooh i hear you on the commissioned paintings taking longer–i have been experiencing that all week with some projects i am doing for other people. what is the deal?!? too much pressure to be perfect, maybe… that pressure isn’t there when you just whip something up on your own.
