Hey, friends! Today I am super excited to partner with one of my favorite brands, DAVIDsTEA. I have been a longtime fan of their quirky-flavored teas. Let’s just say my tea collection is….very serious! One of my biggest joys as a blogger is getting to collaborate with companies I’m a fan girl of.
Anyway, today we are teaming up to teach you how to make TeaPop, a delicious sparkling tea. It’s super refreshing, and I know you guys are always looking to try something new! Plus, it could be a low-cal alternative to soda, so win-win-win, right?
The video includes instructions for making TeaPop at home as well as instructions for making a flavored syrup using tea. Teas are a great way to make flavored syrups with minimal ingredients. The concentrated flavors are great for infusing.
TeaPop can be enjoyed sweetened or unsweetened, just like tea. Personally, the unsweetened version suits me very well. It’s a great alternative to traditional soda if you’ve been trying to cut back!
Here are three flavor variations of TeaPop that we created:
Measure out 4 spoonfuls of Pom Tango Tea into the tea infuser. Pour ½ cup hot water onto the tea to saturate the leaves, and let the tea steep for 3-4 minutes. Fill a cup 2/3 full with ice. Press your tea infuser down on top of your cup to fill your glass 1/3 full of tea. Add 2 tablespoons of Black Cherry syrup to your drink, top off the rest of the glass with sparkling water, then stir to combine.
Measure out 4 spoonfuls of Luscious Watermelon Tea into the tea infuser. Pour ½ cup hot water onto the tea to saturate the leaves, and let the tea steep for 3-4 minutes. Fill a cup 2/3 full with ice. Press your tea infuser down on top of your cup to fill your glass 1/3 full of tea. Top off the rest of the glass with sparkling water, then stir to combine.
Measure out 4 spoonfuls of Shirley Temple Tea into the tea infuser. Pour ½ cup hot water onto the tea to saturate the leaves, stir in agave syrup to taste, and let the tea steep for 3-4 minutes. Fill a cup 2/3 full with ice. Press your tea infuser down on top of your cup to fill your glass 1/3 full of tea. Top off the rest of the glass with sparkling water, then stir to combine.
Try it and let us know what you think! The flavor possibilities are pretty much endless because you can make it with any flavor of tea. Bonus points for cute, fresh garnishes! Don’t forget to pin these recipes so you can try them soon! xx. Elsie
ps—I feel like I should give a shoutout to Cotton Candy, probably my new favorite DAVIDsTEA flavor. It’s so ridiculously good.

This excites me because I LOVE David’s Tea! We got a local shop last year and I’ve been a tea junkie ever since! I have tins and bags of the stuff stashed away in cabinets! It’s pretty serious over here, too. 🙂

DavidsTea hails from very close to where I live! 🙂 How exciting. I’m hooked on their herbal teas as iced teas, too. You should try Just Peachy— it’s amazing and would probably be really good with a splash of sparkling wine. Just sayin’. ;p

I love David’s Tea. Which is saying something since I’m a coffee person.
OMFG I AM OBSESSED WITH TEAPOP (Or SparkleTea as I call it) and totally agree on the Cotton Candy. It’s my fave also and I think I was still drinking the dregs they had left in like October. So glad it’s back!
These look delicious and that tea maker that just strains the tea into your cup?!? So cool!!!
awesome garnishes!
These all sound amazing and delicious and refreshing. They would be perfect for the heat wave we are experiencing right now! Yum!!
The Mango Cherry and the Shirley Temple sound really good. I would’ve never thought that you could use tea to cut back on your soda intake. I’m not a soda person but it’s a good idea.

I love tea and absolutely cannot wait to try these recipes! Where did you find dragon fruit? I had some fruit tea in Beijing a couple of years ago, served in a lovely glass teapot, and have been trying to re-create it ever since but have been unable to find any dragon fruit.
