This week I spent a little time playing with the June Messy Box. It was so much fun! Basically everything you see here besides the Monroe photo sleeves (they'll be back in stock soon) is from the June Box.
I made a couple pages with recent (mostly Instagram) photos. I feel like with the busy season (getting ready to move, lots of projects, etc.), the best thing for me to do is just keep it VERY simple and make some pages about life right now.
Above I mixed some of our 3×3 cards with random photos of happy times recently.
I really love the little mix and match sticker sheet that comes in this month's Messy Box. I am using those everywhere! And the little chipboard stickers are adorable.
I promised in the unboxing video that I'd show you how to use the screens that come in this month's box. They are REALLY fun and you can use them over and over! Here's how—
It's like a giant mesh sticker, so just peel it off.
Stick it to whatever surface you want to print on (I used a 4×6 card from the Messy Box).
Add some acrylic paint to the edge of the screen.
Then swipe it with an old gift card or a piece of cardboard or plastic till the paint completely covers the surface of the screen.
Next, peel the sticker off, rinse it with water and wipe with a paper towel before sticking it back on the sheet it came on.
Ta-da! It's so cute. This paint is extremely light body, but you can use any acrylic paint (or even fabric paint–woo hoo!) with these screens. (Let's make t-shirts next!)

Happy Sunday, you guys! xx. Else

I am so stoked for this messy box! This winter in NY was so crazy that seeing all these great summer colors in the june messybox immediately has my mind thinking of all the great summer memories I can scrapbook. I can’t wait to get it and that pineapple will be used on every other page 🙂

Great idea. Never thought of this. Could be a good use for our wall stickers.

Scrapbook Sundays are my favorite!!! And I’m not even “a scrapbooker.” But I am planning to start! Do you do anything to keep the sequins sealed into the pocket or do they just stay put?
This makes me happy happy happy!

Where did you get this mesh stencil from? I love it!
They are from the Messy Box (linked in the blog post). XOXO!
I used a Fuse tool, but you can also use a sewing machine.
XOXO! Elsie
Maybe in the future, but for now they are exclusively available in the Messy Box. 🙂

This is so great! Thanks for the inspiration.
Hey there!
I am beyond obsessed with your white and blue printed coordinate outfit! Where in the world is it from? It is perfect.

I’m a Messy Box subscriber and was wondering if you’ve thought about doing some posts with ways other people are using the materials? I sometimes search on pinterest for “messy box” and see what comes up! I really loved Kelly Purkey’s video she did with the April layout! Thanks for showing how you used the cork emoji stickers! I used the sunglasses one in just the same way in a recent layout 🙂
I was so excited to start scrap booking with my messy box but I can’t find anywhere that prints 3×3 photos! Only 4×4 :'( Does anyone have any recommendations? I’d rather not print them myself because it’s so expensive!
