We've been prepping decorations for Emma's bachelorette party later this week. Emma thought it would be fun to have a piñata filled with tiny little liquor bottles. "Um Yea!" we all said. 🙂 So we made it happen and it was super easy… and it's hot pink! Seriously, there's nothing like "wedding week" to make us appreciate that rare project that was way quicker than we thought it would be. haha!
So, we bought a regular (colorful) donkey piñata at Target, spray painted it (inspired by Studio DIY & her amazing gold piñata!) hot pink, then filled it with teeny tiny (all plastic) liquor bottles, candy and confetti! I'm excited to tie it up in the tree and bust it open later this week. It's gonna be so much fun.

Love this! Last year on the 4th of July we had a burn ban becuase it was so dry (no rain) so we did a pinata for the kids – since we couldn’t do fireworks. No teeny tiny bottles of booze though! Maybe for my grown-up birthday party?

I made a pinata for my friends bachelorette party a few years ago. But for her’s I made a giant paper machete penis and filled it with lube, condoms, pregnancy tests, more condoms, blow pops, faux diamond rings, more condoms and other raunchy essentials. We didn’t have a stick or a string so we put on the floor and made her grind it to break it.
It was so much fun.
What a clever idea! So well done. My highschool Spanish class (measly 5 girls) made a castle pinata for a class project. After looking at your pinata, I’m not sure it was fit to be called one…haha.

We just had our co-ed wedding shower in May, and the thought of having a pinata crossed my mind. But it wouldn’t have fit with our carnival theme. 🙂 Yours is way better than what I had in mind.
