Oh my gosh, I love Megan Nielsen’s designs! My sisters gave me her Darling Ranges dress pattern for my birthday last year and this year I’m drooling over the Cascade skirt. The double layered variation reminds me of a skirt I saw on the streets of Portland years ago and never forgot. I would definitely love to make it. =)

I think the Banksia top is simply adorable! The perfect addition to my wardrobe…and I’ve been wanting to break out the sewing machine again.
I am freaking OBSESSED with the Cascade skirt but those culottes would probably be a lot more practical for riding my bike. I am all over this banksia top. I’ve been seeing peter pan collars everywhere and i love it! But it’s impossible to nurse in so I’ve held off on getting anything like it…. But now! I have been obsessed with Megan Nielsen’s patterns since I saw all the sewing blogs, seamstresses, sewing up their own versions of the Banksia top!! I would love to have every single one of her patterns but if I had to pick one my favorite at the moment would be the Ruched Maternity tshirt, no, not pregnant, but a lot of my friends are expecting a baby in the near future and I could spend days sewing up different versions of this for presents!!
After spending the better part of my morning browsing through megan nielsen’s website, and sending quite a few hint emails to my husband, I have finally narrowed down my favorite. It came down to the Banksia top. I could wear that top with almost anything for almost any occasion and be on point. I’m so excited that you two (Elsie and Emma, of course) have introduced me to this amazing sight. I have been on the lookout for great sewing blogs and these patterns are just to die! Oh my goodness, this giveaway is a total dream come true!!! I’m on a tight budget, but have been eyeing all of Megan’s to die for patterns. In particular I am in LOVE her new breakwater collection, especially the tania culottes. Just the other day while biking I thought of how badly I wanted something cute to wear but that would not expose me; like a skort almost. But I don’t fancy the double layer thing, so when I saw her tania culottes I fell head over heels for them. I couldn’t believe my eyes! Unfortunately I didn’t really have the space in my budget for it. :'( So I’m trying save up and buy at least that pattern. I love her stuff and would get them all in a heartbeat. I keep coming back to the cascade skirt as my favorite. I’ve been coveting one for a while and have probably tried on 20 different ones. I’ve yet to find a length that works for my short height. I would LOVE to make my own.
