Vine is a new social networking app that allows you to share short, simple videos. Our first impression was, "whoa! freaky!" But then we tried it… and we like it. Emma and I are sharing an account. It's been fun to play with a new format for sharing little moments.

I tried it and my joy with it lasted as long as the 6 second video I took. I don’t see the use of it. Have you tried Qwiki? I much more prefer that.
I am so freaking addicted, already have 16 vines in less than a week.

I like it, it seems to be a lot of yelling babies and dogs, which is fine but I guess I like that better in picture form haha. I have and I think it is a great concept, only a little part of me wants it to fail because it’s hard keeping up with yet another social media app.

If it’s a video app, I think it’s similar with keek. Keek is also a video app for iPhone users (I don’t know about android) that you can upload a video with maximum 36 seconds. Lots of famous people use it (Keegan Allen, Kim/Khloe/Kylie/Kendall/Kourtney Kardashian, etc). I will check vine letter, but you should try keek also to see which one is better! π

I tried it and liked it a lot …, until I found out you can’t make your account private and I had all these strange people following me. I don’t use it anymore but other than that it is definitely fun!
All your vine posts are so cute! I actually haven’t had great luck with vine. For some reason, about 70% of the time my videos wont upload. =( I stilll really REALLY love the concept though.

Are they paying all the bloggers to post about this? I’m seeing so many bloggers pushing this app. Which is fine, but it’s not the best app out there, great idea in theory, but don’t like the set up yet. They need some serious work.

At first I was like another social media outlet! Oh my gosh! But I tried it and got hooked. It’s a lot of fun and it’s really interesting to see how other people get creative with it. I’ve tried stop motion, let my kids get involved and just experiment. It’s like instagram but with videos. I’m at theinspiredcafe if you would like to see my vines!

don’t have an iphone, but I’m a little concerned over reports that you can’t set your privacy, or block people. If they fix that and make it available for androids then I’ll consider. In relation to bloggers promoting social media apps, it makes sense to do so!

I’ve been loving me some Vine! I didn’t think I was much of a video person, but it’s super easy to make these videos. I thought the one of you and Emma dancing across the screen was awesome haha. Emma moves so fast! My boyfriend and I do your dance across the kitchen here and there now..trying to get up to “Emma-speed”.

Emily and I signed up for it but because we couldn’t moderate who followed us, we deleted our accounts. I don’t think it’s very child safe but I know I’d love watching your videos. Might have to dip my toe back in.
Would you all recommend the app? I’ve used apps like this before but they’ve been mostly full of american teenagers so it was never a good move, understandably im now wary to download this one, good or not?

I also started using Vine last week. I think it’s a really cool idea, but definitely needs some work. I don’t like that you can’t block people! And even when you delete a nasty comment, it still shows up in your activity feed. I’m hoping that they get these kinks worked out, because I think that it will be really cool!
