Happy weekend, everyone! Hope you had a productive week and here's to a relaxing weekend! Just wanted to share a few of my favorite things from Internet surfing this week. π
1. I'm currently on the hunt for some pretty tile for a new project I'm working on. In love with this company as well as this one. If you have any tile suppliers you'd like to recommend, please let me know! 2. How pretty are these DIY gold foil pillows?! I've got to make something using this technique soon. So cool!
3. So proud of my sister this week for the launch of our latest subscription: Messy Box! I can't wait to give my own photo albums a major upgrade this year. 4. OMG! I am DYING over these emoji Easter eggs!!!!!
4. Geez your hair is pretty! Inspiring me to keep growing mine out. 5. I shared a quinoa and wild rice breakfast stir fry this week, and then I saw this tasty looking kale and cashew stir fry. Yum! I'm a little stir fry obsessed, so I'll be trying this soon for sure.
Other things I'm loving lately:
–This post on how to start a fashion blog cracked me up!
-As soon as it stops snowing, I'm making this Salted Caramel Coconut Ice Cream.
–According to my astrological sign, I should go somewhere weird/science-y this year. π
Happy weekend! xo. Emma

you should PROBABLY hit up the NRAO telescope observatory in Green Bank, WV and also go to Cass, WV, ride the old logging train, and get a milkshake at the soda counter in the general store.
How fun! I always wanted to learn to braid my own hair but it’s sooo hard! Ha! I love the easter eggs… they are too cute and that quinoa stir fry looks delish!

I agree her hair is pretty, but half of the reason for that is she wears hair extensions.

I am absolutely loving that pink cushion. It would be a perfect addition to a neutral palette when wanting to add a pop of colour.

I won’t be able to wait for the ice cream. yum!
hi! to elsie and emma: i’m a big fan of your site and am constantly amazed by how well you conduct business. i would have loved to see something on here on international women’s day. you have a huge platform and i think so so many of us would be interested in hearing your thoughts on being (young) women in the creative industry, on creating jobs and working it. i think you could really empower and inspire with your insights. π
I need those emoji eggs right now! They would make perfect easter eggs!
ohlalalala:))) that braid!!! and hair. how on earth (with all the bleaching i’ve done over too many years) am i to get that thickness back??? in order to grow it that beautifully long:) such inspiration.
I need motivation to keep growing my hair out, too. It’s currently at an awkward medium length and I just want to cut it SO badly!
omg those emoji eggs are soooo cute!

I love some of the vacation suggestions related to the zodiac! But, for goodness sake, please be careful if you are planning on “discovering the complexity of Iran.” Holy Toledo! I’ll probably avoid Iran for now and plan for the Mutter Museum in Philadelphia and the Museum of Osteology in OKC!
Love & tail wags from St. Louis!
Great to see a new quinoa recipe! My latest is quinoa ‘fried rice’ http://atravellingcook.blogspot.de/2015/03/quick-quinoa-fried-rice.html
That herringbone floor…
I clicked on your post from Bloglovin summary and…opened other 6 pages to read more of each :-). Compliments, you caught my attention even if I am late to work π
Great links! The eggs are so cute and I like the sound of the kale stir fry for a quick, healthy meal.
That tile is UH-MAZING!! Absolutely love it
Beautiful photos as always! The hair favorite is gorgeous.
I think you should listen to what they say according to your sign… Morden has a very odd museum with the world’s largest mosasaur fossil… ha! Canada is very science-y, y’know. π
Thank you so much for the emoji egg shout out, Emma!! Love those brushstroke pillows too!
