Last time I was shopping at Hobby Lobby (which is all the time, let's be honest…) I found some chalkboard paper in an adhesive roll, similar to contact paper! Kinsey and I thought it would be fun to make removable glass markers for parties. How about that?
Simply grab a roll of adhesive chalkboard paper, cut a strip, adhere it to your glass and smooth out any wrinkles with your finger. Write guests names on the glasses at your next shower or casual dinner with friends. When it's over you can remove them, and even re-use them! Have fun….
xo. elsie & kinsey too!

cute, cute, cute.
This is so cute, I love it! So much nicer than the lame Sharpie route I normally take to plastic (yuck) cups. Thanks for the tip!

Who knew there was such a thing as adhesive chalkboard paper? Fun!
Great idea! I’ve not seen that paper over here, but I’m sure it could be done with spray paint too!

This is totally random I know…but where did you get that tablecloth? It is the exact combo of colors I am wanting in one! ๐
That’s so awesome! I painted a piece of contact paper with chalkboard paint to get the same effect, but it was a total pain in the butt (streaks galore!).
I want that roll of tape! Great idea.

Christina, It’s a piece of vintage fabric that I picked up at a garage sale. ๐

Elsie and Kinsey- I’d heard of chalkboard paint, but not of chalkboard contact paper! Love the idea for parties–I always ignored labeling people’s glasses and then at my husband’s birthday party this year, one of our guests somehow ended up with my glass. I’m definitely trying this next time!
Elsie- Thanks for your comment on my blog. It made my day! ๐
Top tip: It’s easier to write the name on the flat piece of chalkboard paper before you stick it on the glass. It’s hard to write around a cyclinder shape. I know. I tried.
so cute…I like this idea alot! I wonder if I can find it at Michael’s
that’s such a cute (and simple!) idea, something i will definitely try sometime soon!
What a great ideaโฅ
I will have to look for that tape…we do not have a hobby Lobby where I live but we do have 3 other large craft stores.

You actual star – Wedding place names DONE! How does the sticky tape cope with tealights? Could you do an ickle test for me if you can? Pleeease? xxxx
